I'm not sure. For the price, it's most likely in China.
With the exception of metal, I've used them on just about everything. But I can say they've held up well; I've washed them and reused them.
Only on puzzle glue have I used them, not on paint. Even just to try them out, the price is great. However, because they are sponges, whatever you dip them in stays in the sponge, and if you press down too hard, more liquid than you want will come out.

The foam isn't as firm or dense as other foam brushes, and the plastic rib inside is flimsy and flexible. That means it won't have enough support to apply thick paints and will wear out faster, especially on coarser surfaces. This is fine for me because I usually use my foam brushes with thin acrylic paints and then discard them. br>The wood handles appear to be shorter and rougher than the foam brushes I'm used to. Again, if these are intended for occasional use and are disposable, there should be no issue. I had no problems with the foam part detaching or even wobbling from the handles. The foam edges have been angled and chiseled to a sharp point as they should be.
These were the cheapest foam brushes I could find, and they fulfilled the following criteria: cheap. I used them and they disintegrated. Painting, staining, and polyurethane sealing were all done with them. I had to pick small pieces of foam out of the paint before it dried when I was painting. I had to sand and repaint with a different brush the pieces I didn't get out before it dried. br>I had a staining issue, but it wasn't nearly as bad as yours. Because the stain was not sticky, it was easy to remove the bits of foam. br>The poly was the most difficult, as I had to sand out the foam bits after each layer. I don't mind sanding, but I don't like having to undo what I've done. br>I wouldn't use these for anything that requires a nice finish. br>In addition, about a quarter of the brushes' foam and handle separated during the project.
Brushes, pencils, and canvases are among the items I've obtained from them. I've never been let down by the quality. My wallet is never harmed because of the price! br>br>This 20-piece foam sponge brush set is ideal for a variety of projects. This value pack will undoubtedly contain the size I require for the task! Ten 1" brushes, six 2" brushes, two 3" brushes, and two 4" brushes are included in the set. br>br>The foam is excellent at absorbing paint and preventing it from dripping. The pointed tips make it easy to get into tight spaces. The wood handles are light and comfortable to hold. I've used, washed, and re-used these. They've done a fantastic job so far.
I usually purchase foam sponges from Home Depot, but I decided to save time and order these instead. It was a complete waste of money and time. These are the most ineffective foam sponges I've ever encountered. None of them made it through one coat of paint, stain, or poly, several of them ripped, and they all started to shed after just a few minutes of use.
br>Saving money is a good idea because not all foam brushes are created equal. I used these to polyurethane the pine inside my cabin, but they pilled and left little pieces of foam in the finish, which I had to sand out. I decided to go out and buy some better quality brushes after going through about four or five, and it was a lot easier and less of a hassle. After I got the better ones, I had to throw out the majority of them.
These were purchased in order to clean the lid of my Instant Pot. Clean them by rinsing, squeezing, and placing them in the dishwasher. I had so many that I decided to keep some in the art room for future projects. Overall, a great deal for so many.
These were fantastic. It was my first time using a sponge to paint with. It was fantastic to get rid of the brush marks that a brush leaves behind. It works out better if you rinse them quickly after they're done. I overstayed my welcome on a couple of them. Those were the ones I had to get rid of. I've also discovered that if you use a heavy hand, they become "spineless. " I lost a few due to mistreatment and kept others in service, but I still enjoy them.
I purchased these in the mistaken belief that they were the same as the ones I purchased a year ago. NOT These items are extremely flimsy and nearly unusable. You can get away with these brushes if you wear gloves and don't mind getting epoxy on your hands (gloves). They bend easily at the point where the foam meets the handle. The brush must be held by itself; the handle gets in the way. br>Spend a little more money on some that are of higher quality.
