These are by far the most ineffective paintbrushes I've ever purchased. They fall apart far too easily; if you set them down for even a minute after dipping them in paint, the handles will separate from the brushes. I needed to complete a small job (approximately 2 square feet). I had to use six brushes to complete it, that's how bad they are. I'm glad I have a Prime account because they wouldn't be worth the cost of shipping if they were free, but I wish Amazon would vet certain items before selling them.
Hello, we had to apply multiple coats of teak oil to teak and the fine quality paint brushes performed admirably. However, cleaning up and storing the used but clean brush was not always possible. As a result, these foam brushes in a variety of sizes proved useful for large, medium, and small areas. They absorbed the teak oil and evenly distributed it. There were no streaks in the oil, and it dried without a hitch. What about cleanup? br>br>How about it? The oil-infused foam brushes will dry quickly and can be discarded normally once they have dried. Landfills can handle dry paint. This package contains all of the sizes required to complete the majority of painting projects quickly and effectively, and you will be pleased with the end result.
I was getting these for $1 each at Home Depot. This is how it should be done! The product is essentially the same, and they appear to be more durable. When staining, I'd frequently break off the plastic head, but these have so far proven to be up to the task.
What you pay for is exactly what you get. These fall apart within minutes of beginning a project and are not washable or reusable. The sponges rip easily and tear away from the handle completely.
I know it was worthwhile for the price.
Almost instantly, the foam brush heads detach from the handle. Some of the foam was crumbly, rendering the brush useless.
Sure, you get a whole package, but you also have to use two of them. To paint a typical project, canvas, or whatever else, you'll need three brushes. As you paint, the foam degrades, and the head of the stick occasionally falls off. yikes. Overall, it's a shambles, with shoddy construction and poor quality. Perhaps they're intended for children in the preschool age range.
If I'm painting a base color, this is an excellent tool to use.
