There is an endless number of possibilities with our artist supplies, which are heat- and solvent-resistant. They are ideal for all media including ceramics, plaster, encaustics, and heavy acrylic. In fact, they can be used to create food.

With mild soap and water, you can easily clean the blades and the edges. During the cleaning process, dried paint can even be peeled off the silicone surfaces, and the blades can be separated from their wooden handles.

Is it true that the wedge is smaller when the number is lower? Thanks! I wonder if anyone uses this in painting with watercolours?

The different numbers/colors all have a different shape to their edges. No, all of them are the same size. Take No. 1, for example. Whenever you see 1 in your document it's always dark grey with a rounded corner.

Oil painting is a perfect medium for this tool. In Argentina, we do not have access to Catalyst wedges. As a consequence, I bought it via Amazon, while my friend in the States was living there.
