I loved the way it gave my projects a smooth, polished finish. If you intend to touch it, you must let it dry through in cool, dry air.
My first attempt was to use clear spray paint because other people had done it. Upon learning that it was being washed off, the clear spray paint washed away. Thank you for posting this, I'm glad I found it! Paintings are protected on the rock so they do not wash away with this solution.
Does exactly what it claims to do. There are several pro's to this On a pair of motorcycle boots I painted, I used this sealer and it sprays evenly, dries quickly, and gives the colors a deep color. Rather than do 3 layers straight away, I waited for the surface to reach 100% drying over the course of two days. I sprayed this sealant directly on the painted areas of the boot and not the rest of it. When looking at my pictures, note that I did not spray this sealer on the rest of the boot. There are some cons to this I was outside during that time, and there was a slight breeze, yet I noticed the smell was quite strong. Due to it, my neighbor two doors down stopped by to check on me, and they mainly live downwind from You should not use this inside or in a small area if you intend to use it. Make sure you are outside, or at the very least, find a fan. A painter's mask with a filter would be the best option if you're quite sensitive to paint or chemical smells. My overall thoughts on this product are excellent, and I will use it on a few other crafts and projects I have in mind.
A plastic doll is painted with acrylic paint on hand painted plastic shoes and accessories. I assumed that the paint would stay intact. Although the product arrived promptly, it gets sticky about 10 hours after applying a single light coat, either because the product isn't dry yet or because it fails to cure completely. I find this disappointing. There is a very strong smell as well. Ideally, this product should be used outside. The following updates have been made In my experience, despite multiple uses and multiple tricks to resolve the issue, I am unable to use this product Upon drying, it becomes extremely tacky. A buildup of dust will adhere to the paint and in some cases, it will cause Unfortunately, I am very disappointed but have placed another order from Amazon for a product I have heard good things about and hope it will help.
Using this on a PS4 shell that needed to be sealed was very straightforward. As soon as the shell was painted in heavy coats, the paint cracked and looked terrible. Upon my second attempt at a new shell, I used a few light coats of paint and the results were better. In my case, when the shell was fully dry (whatever the recommended time was), I applied it to the I saw the gloss start to chip almost immediately and look horrible (it dried differently). Possibly, depending on the project, it would work better, but not ones that are likely to get touched frequently.
The word I'm in is It was a perfect fit for a pair of Converse. Towards the end of the week, I'm going to make bridal shoes for my cousin and I don't want her tracking glitter everywhere. Due to unfortunate circumstances, her future husband cannot come to the wedding After writing on the soles with a Sharpie over two weeks ago, the sealer caused the marker to run and I am now trying to figure out how to clean up the marks left behind.
As part of a project I was working on, I bought this product. My first impression was how well this works and how fast it dries. It is not recommended to spray this product indoors before it has dried since it will emit a very strong odor. If you choose to use this, I recommend wearing a face mask or respirator. The product works well and I recommend it highly.
The gloss sprays on clear and dries quickly. I have used it on at least 12 projects now, and it does an excellent job. It is important to note that spraying it outside will result in a lacquer-type odor, so spray it on a non-reflective surface The wind has picked up. As of two years ago, I have not yellowed any of the stuff I painted, and the finish remains There's only one con I can point out, and that is there is a scent from lacquer that lingers if you apply heavy It is normal for the smell to stay on your project for a week as it dissipates. In the end, it does disappear. A simple interface - ease of use The quality of the product is 5 stars The following five attributes define durability Odor - five stars Across the board, I rate it a 4".
