If it worked for you, I believe it would work. With it, I used old metal frames and it still stayed on them just fine! Adding sunscreen to a car could require you to buff it or reapply it during the day. While it is sturdy, I'm not familiar with how well it will withstand a lot of everyday use. It has a decent amount of durability, though.
On our pewter sink, I tried it not on a shower surround, but on our shower head It was washed several times a day with water that ran directly on it. This worked perfectly for me. Having to reapply every couple of weeks was all I had to do. Compared to replacing the shower surround, that would be much less expensive!
When fully dried, it is ready for use. If you want to make the finishing shine, you can actually polish it with a dry cotton after some hours.
Due to my lack of experience with that color, I cannot offer you any advice. In one of the gold colors, I used a metallic finish.

Because quite a few examples of black are hard to find, I wanted to post a review for it. I found Prism shelves in blonde mango wood, which are very hard to find modern shelves. Trying to get the Ebony wood stain to dry was difficult, and the Black Rub n Buff finally did the job. My heart is so full of joy. With two tubes of Pewter rub and buff, I did eight of these rods.
I tried it on a brass lamp with the Rub'n Buff, Ebony. When I first thought it would work great, I was horrified at how horrible it turned out to be. In fact, it seems to dry so quickly that you can't even cover more than a square inch at a time, then scrape off as you go. There may be other colors that work, I only got ebony, but since I was so disappointed with it, I won't bother trying any others.
I wanted something that was not going to get lost in the shuffle. All that it touched was stained with a goopy mess. But I was trying to use it on metal, which was not a good idea. I wanted an alternative to spray paint that wouldn't crack or flake off, and after reading several rave reviews about how good it was for metal, I decided to purchase Metallic surfaces are not adhered to by it. This would be a useful product for small wood projects, such as picture frames or mirror frames, wooden candlesticks, etc. Given that I used it for something it wasn't intended for, I think I should give it more stars than two. But I doubt it will be any easier to work with on any surface given how hard it is to work with it, starting with its hardness. From the tube, it does not seem to be a wax-like substance. You can compare it to oil paint in terms of consistency. There really wasn't anything I wanted from it. This is absolutely something that will require a hobby brush to apply.
The gold and silver pieces I have previously purchased are great, however, the ebony was a total failure. There was a problem with consistency. In the beginning, it was very watery, but in the middle, it became very hard. The project I was working on was completely ruined. If it has been sitting somewhere for a long time, I wonder if it was accidentally damaged.
What I expected was not what I got. This was an excited purchase for me. I wanted this to replace the light fixture color rather than spend $100 to change it. I had high hopes on the interwebs, but it turned out to be a failure. I think the light fixtures are too new to be a thrift find, and that they're not thrift finds. I am delighted that it arrived before its expected date, however with my lights it did not function at all. Luckily, I tested it in a spot that can't be seen because it looked awful. Rather than spray paint, I'm going to use it. It did not come in a package either, it only came in.
In retrospect, I wouldn't have worried about spray painting my light fixture if I had known then what I know now. As a result, I got this even though I don't live near anywhere where I could In the videos, it seemed like this was an incredibly easy task. There is no such thing. It's not in my power to buff this stuff to an even finish, due to my insufficient muscles. Immediately begins to turn goopy and pretty much continues to do so.
There was a problem with consistency. There was a problem with the product’s separation and it did not operate. Rub n buff has been the only one that has done this out of all the bottles that I have ordered. I think it might have been the ebony, since the vintage gold and gold leaf worked so well. It was cheaper to buy the ebony from this seller instead of Michaels.
As someone who has used the silver version of this product, I can attest to its incredible qualities. Unfortunately, I was not able to make this work. Silver seemed to work on all surfaces when it came out of the tube rather like extra-thick shoe polish. It took a while to spread because it was so thick. It seems that I have yet to find a surface which works with This may be a case of "user error," but it has not been a.
