I should have gotten it a long time ago. As far as mixing colors and cleaning up, this palette is much better than any other plastic or metal palette I have used so far. The type of painter I am I leave colors to dry in the great hope that I will reactivate and use them again, and as a consequence all my other palettes are stained, including the metal one, but my porcelain one cleans up like it never happened! In the past, I have bought cheap porcelain plates, but the deep "wells" where I can blend colors without them creeping towards each other are so much more relaxing to use because they prevent the paint from splashing out. I love how cute the design is too! I would definitely recommend it.

This water color palette was just delivered to me I'm sad because it has a chip since I DO LOVE the size, but I would be concerned that it's a weak spot where it could chip more and if I wash it, it's now pores, so I would be concerned that it would also become weaker. Size is perfect, but I'm sad I need to update it as it's fragile. It's okay now that I have a new replacement. It was a bit of a hassle at the beginning, but there was no issue now. Mixing colors couldn't be easier thanks to this palette. Cleaning is very easy believe this is the reason why the Chinese love porcelain palettes so much. Also, it is much larger than I expected. It was packaged well and arrived unharmed.
