For weighing out your components, use a different container. These are fine for mixing in, but use another for measuring. As you can see, there are huge variations in the spacing between the marks on the scale for ounces. A small scale is the only scale I use to weigh water as it is added, and the marks it produces are all over the place. It is clearly not equal proportions to have 10 percent error or more overall, and to have 1 to 2 to 3 oz in error. Yes, I understand that the cups increasingly get wider as you go up, so the marks should get closer together as you go up. There's nothing like that here The distance between them gets closer, then it gets farther There are a lot of problems with it.
This is not suitable for epoxy, so you'll ruin your projects! Using two separate cups, I measured out 50cc in each and 50cc equal to the 90cc mark. I noticed that the measurements were "off" so I used two separate cups. I poured both ingredients into the same cup but only saw 90cc instead of 100cc on the measure. You should not buy these if you need to measure anything accurately!.
You should not purchase this product! There is a huge error in the ounce measurements on the cups. There are multiple resin projects that have been ruined as a result. Irrespective of where you are from, you should avoid drinking from these cups.
Put it to the test. The measurements had come out wrong for me, so I poured all 80ml of resin into the big cup (and scraped it all out when I was done) and then moved on to the smaller cup. Having used a big cup, it came to 70ml. In this case I poured 80ml of hardener into the small cup. In the end, it was 150ml in total when it was poured into the big cup. They come in a variety of sizes, so I can mix more at one time, but the measurements are absolutely off all the way to the top.
My realization that their measurements are not accurate was lost on me until I got the cups. There is even a warning that the measurements are approximate on the cups. I totally screwed up what I had planned for them, because that totally thrown me off. Measurements in measurement cups are not always accurate, so why would I want them? There is no logic to this. This is why cups are even manufactured, I don't know why they These cups are useless for anyone who needs to use accurate measurements on an item they were doing -.
It took me a few moments to realize that this was an approximate figure. Nowhere in the ad was it stated that it was an approximate figure. Even if I could, I could not use it.
It's a good product to measure resin with. I like them a lot. In addition, I use silicone cups for adding colors. I use one cup to measure and mix, and one for adding colors. Having a hard cup helps me mix better, and these are easy to read the measurements because they are hard to break.
This makes it perfect for not having to worry about wasting money, you can use them and then throw them away, so no losses to the product costs are incurred.
