I was refunded over five dollars when they weren't able to send me the two colors that were missing (because they were prepackaged). This was helpful because it was a total of $800. Since I was already using them when I realized that I should have returned them, I did not. The thing could have been returned, but I didn't want to do that because of the mess up. This is especially true since they responded immediately and had a solution to offer. There's a lot of value for the price when it comes to the brushes, sponges, paper, etc. In any case, the colors are much lighter wet than they appear dry, so it's best to put them in number order first, so you can tell better which color it is by matching the name of the color to the number. When you have any repeat colors (I would say a very big IF), you will know. I got this for my daughter as a gift. Upon receiving it, she was very happy and I am very glad I spent my money on it. It is nice to see such vibrant colors. Instead of being forced to place the pans in whatever grouping the manufacturer put them in, I like how you can rearrange them according to your preferences instead. pencils that come with it are simple and not very high-quality, but they will suffice well for a teenager or someone starting out or trying watercolors for the first time. As long as she keeps the half pans full, she will not run out of paint any time soon. Moreover, I really appreciate that it comes with a swatch sheet on which you can paint a picture to show how each color looks in real life. Colors are all off. This is not correct. The door name and color order may be OK if you are an artist and familiar with colors, but not if you base your decisions on the name and color order of the door. Turquoise 066, Dark Green 068 and Lilac 050 represent the Colors of the Color Wheel. Mineral Blue 055 is the Color Wheel color for In the name of colors, a mistake has been made. It was a bad color chart, but the paint was nice quality and pigment was heavy. Several of the colors in the color chart were incorrect. Seeing the color of the paint on a wall may not seem like a big deal, but you cannot look at the paint directly. I bought this kit myself to take with me on my travels. I'm not too happy with that. My experience with it was that I used it once at the bay and it wasn't practical when I tried painting there. It didn't help that trying to color swatch them didn't work. It didn't match the swatching card's colors, and it was just plain awful. want it to play with a non-artist, then get it in bulk and give it away. It won't matter what they do as long as they don't know what they're doing. the paint pucks were horrible they dried chalky, the paper warped badly (even when taped down), and I tore out my washi tape. What the heck. Painters who are serious should not attempt this.

It was great to have brushes and colors in this set. The price of the package is surprising for the quality. While the pad of paper that comes with it is small, the paper is thick and has not rippled or wrinkled Some people have commented that the colors don't line up exactly with the key provided, but you can move them around if you need to. I found this to be an excellent set of watercolors for a basic.
