My favorite thing about this cup turner is the design. Since it is my first time, I believe I made the right choice. My observations on the subject of noise are evident on this forum. I love how the switch allows me to control the direction with just a couple of clicks. It isn't necessary to tighten the screws the full amount. It only takes a few seconds to replace and remove.
I love the little tripod stands that come with it! In the morning, I use them to prop my cups up outside so I can spray paint and then dry inside. I chose matte paint because the arm was hard to glide, which led to less handling of my cups. That is how I thought about the tape on the arm to eliminate noise. I think it's a good idea. I dislike the only thing about this kit is you have to unscrew a tiny screw to get at the rod with the tumbler attached. Luckily, my husband purchased a Clevis pin and the problem was solved.

I like the fact that this comes with a lot of features and doesn't get too hot at night when left on. The product was very good. We would order more if we needed it. It does make some noise after you use it a few times. That is mainly because of the epoxy, glitter, and anything else that gets on the pvc pipe. Also when your foam gets too close, but that is not the turner doing that, that is the user. Foam makes all the difference, if you think it's not level, you should use better foams. (This is primarily true if you are using the 30 oz long skinny cup. I ended up making almost as long and as level as the cup with pool noodle foam.
