I used a clipboard to hold the paper and it worked fine. The paper is appealing to me.
I haven't decided yet. I write on a regular basis. sketching with ink To mix inks, I use a small plastic tray with small circular wells built in, then wipe them clean with a paper cloth once they're done.

There's no need to clean a palette after you've finished your masterpiece; simply tear off the sheet and throw it away! If you have excess paint on the paper after using the Masterson palettet box, simply close the box and the paint will stay fresh for about a week - There's no reason to throw away perfectly good paint.
However, only one end of the pad was bound. Compared to the old pad I used to have, which was more textured and seemed to dry the oil paint out overnight, I prefer the waxy texture of this paper. However, I have a problem with the paper being only bound on one end; otherwise, I would give it five stars. I wish the paper had been bound on at least two, if not three, sides - It would be a lot easier to blend your colors with a spatula if you did that. It would also be beneficial if the cardboard or whatever it is was much firmer and more supportive.
The surface of the paper is still usable. Quite a few of the brands have shifted! Also, I've been on the lookout for a palette paper that is still fastened down on more than one side, and I've tried a few different brands. This is the decision I've made. In the freezer, it's holding up well. It's a decent product, but not quite as good as the days when paper palettes were gummed on three sides. However, this is on two, which is preferable to one, as most people are now. I'm a professional who despises scraping a palette made of glass. I know - Although it is bad for the environment, freezing it ensures that I use up all of my paint!.
The cost is reasonable. It's practical. Pallets made of paper are the most convenient to work with because they don't require any cleaning and can be thrown away once completed. These are something I use all the time, and they come in a variety of sizes, including this one, which is perfect for my average-sized paintings. There are numerous options available, as well as a wide range of prices. I was surprised to discover that Amazon was a little less expensive than Dick Blick, who used to make their own pads. No more. I'll never wash another glass plate or pallet again because it's such a good value.
This is an excellent choice for oil or acrylic painters. Cleanup is much faster and easier as a result of this. When painting with oils, you don't need to use solvents to clean your palette, which saves money. Simply rip it off and toss it in the trash. This is an excellent product.
I have yet to try it with acrylic paint. This paper stayed in place all night and didn't bleed through. I cut the paper in half because it was quite large. When I was finished painting, I appreciated being able to throw the paper away. It's difficult to clean palettes without using paper. it takes a long time This is something I'm going to buy again. I would strongly suggest it.
I simply discard the top sheet once I'm done. If I need to save an oil palette, I can wrap the sheet in plastic wrap, tear it away from the pad, roll it up, and freeze it.
This Strathmore paper is one of my favorites and has been in my collection for quite some time. The one I just bought, on the other hand, has a shaky backing and is held together with cheap glue. The quality isn't even close to what I paid for my palette six months ago. Strathmore, reclaim your reputation for excellence! >.
