My large Masterson Palette has been in my possession for at least a decade, and I adore it. I'm not sure what I would have done without it. It feels great to know that your paints aren't going to waste, drying out, and being thrown away. This palette system, on the other hand, ensures that your investments are kept in good condition for proper painting. I've been painting in oil for a long time, but I wanted to expand my palette. Acrylic is a wonderful medium, but it can be difficult to work with. This system has the potential to completely transform the industry. I've been using my original sponges for so long that this is the first time I've needed to replace them. These sponges are one of my favorites. They are durable, long-lasting, and useful. I tried a different sponge made of a similar material, but it didn't work out as well. That's exactly what you're looking for. 5 stars.
These sponges are fantastic and are a must-have for Masterson Sta- Pallets that have been wet. Keeps acrylic paint fresh and usable for days with just the right amount of moisture. It's re-usable and machine washable. usable.
I was in desperate need of a new place to spend the night. My palette is made up of a wet sponge. My old sponge began to crumble and mold began to grow on it. These are fantastic. When I use acrylics, it saves me a lot of time because the paint stays viable for several days when I use this in conjunction with the stay-dry medium. Palette, wet and airtightbr>.
Allowing paint to sit for an extended period of time causes it to stain. The sponge will be ruined if it comes into contact with wet paper. If you leave it closed and wet for an extended period of time, it will grow mold; these are just bad habits, not deal breakers. This is my hobby, and I've discovered that these have saved me enough paint to cover the cost of them.
I'm an amateur painter, so I paint whenever I have free time, and having to reset my pallet every time takes extra time; this pallet, combined with the Masterson Palette set, eliminates the need for that - There is no need to set up the palette; simply open it, paint on it, and close it until the next time; this allows me to work with the same palette throughout the painting. The Wife says: "This is a fantastic product!".
Buying them on Amazon is much more convenient and less expensive. They're fantastic for keeping paints fresh and ready to use while working on a project.
