I already have four of these at home, and they're great, so I ordered 15 more for a class. The new ones have shallow holes that will not hold a lot of paint. It is 6. Total width is 5 inches, not 6 inches. The holes aren't as deep as a teaspoon, as stated, and there are seven of them. Very let down. It's strong, and it's simple to clean.

I was concerned that it wouldn't last, but my 8-year-old daughter and 5-year-old niece have been using them nonstop for their washable paint and they're still in good shape. After that, it's extremely simple to clean. This is an excellent purchase.

These are worth it, and you can get them for $1 to $2 for singles. 30$ at the local art store or dollar tree, but if you need 8 to 12 of them, it's worth it. It's a little more expensive than dollar trees or hobby lobbys, but it's about the same price.
