Questions & Answers

Is there a hose included?

One does not come with a hose.

Is this suitable for biweekly use, such as for cosplay makeup or the creation of fake ears? Between this and the Iwata Eclipse, I'm having a hard time deciding. Pls?

It's not something I've ever used for applying makeup. Both guns are suitable for biweekly use. The Revolution CR is less expensive, but it still performs admirably in casual situations.

Is it possible to use automotive paints and stencils?

It can be used for automotive paints and pretty much anything else that can be sprayed as long as it's cleaned properly, and a stencil, while not related to an airbrush, can be used with any paint, ink, or varnish. I hope this information is useful; it is a tough but delicate tool.

I began airbrushing with two low-cost brushes, just like everyone else
5/5

To begin, let me state that I am not a professional artist, but rather a model car and military model enthusiast. I began airbrushing with two inexpensive brushes, a Master airbrush single action and a Master airbrush dual action, just like everyone else. So I wanted to step it up a notch by doing some templete work and fogging with my Badger ghost tints, but my dual action brush kept clogging and spitting. I tried every trick I could think of; 3 needle sizes have been changed. 2mm . 3mm and . Air pressure, needle juice, and flow improver are all adjusted to 5mm. Nothing seemed to work. Now is the time to get a good airbrush. After doing a lot of research, I decided on the Iwata- Medea HP. Before starting to paint, I disassembled the unit completely and familiarized myself with all of the components. I used some of the lube that came with my brush to lubricate the trigger mechanism. Now it's time to get to work. The paint that has given me the most trouble would be the first to be put to the test. the phantom colors Set the air pressure to 15 PSI and start spraying with about 5 drops of paint. WOW! I was in airbrush heaven the moment I pulled the trigger back. There will be no spitting or clogging of the system. With ease, draw fine lines and broad stokes. When comparing the Iwata to the Master airbrush, it's easy to see why this company is so high on the list; the craftsmanship that goes into this brush is a work of art in and of itself. When you look down into the paint cup and see how nice and polished it is, with a gradual taper that leads straight to the paint tunnel, you'll notice this. Even when putting the brush together, you can tell that all of the parts fit together perfectly and without any play. All day, this unit receives five stars. FINAL REMARKS. If you're looking for a way to improve your game, you've come to the right place. You are the one who will benefit from this brush.

Still new to airbrushing, I used them mostly for priming and varnishing miniatures because I couldn't get my Badgers airbrushes to work properly
3/5

After some issues with my Badger Sotar 2020, I decided to purchase this brush, and I must say that I am very pleased with it. I've been using this brush on a lot of miniatures, but I've had a few issues with it that I've tried to contact Iwata about but haven't received a response to. br>br>At the very least, Badger will respond to your support requests, and occasionally the owner himself. Their only problem is that they use multiple domain names for email (I've seen Hotmail and Yahoo branded emails), so you never know if it's them. I'm not sure because Iwata hasn't responded to any of my emails. br>br>Aside from that, the amount of detail I can get out of this brush is incredible; perhaps I'm not using the Badger brushes correctly, but this Iwata brush converted me from a Badger fan in an instant. It's a good investment.

All-around excellent and long-lasting airbrush with a specific goal Over the years, I've had several of these, and I've used them as a primary or auxiliary tool in thousands of artworks, ranging from book covers (sf/fantasy, romance) to remarqued/modified prints, color studies, and astronomicals, both "traditional" and reverse-engineered

painted. There are plenty of cheaper brushes that will suffice for casual use, but this is a more professional tool that makes quality work easier and can withstand long-term use. br>There are plenty of cheaper brushes that will suffice for casual use, but this is a more professional tool that can handle long-term use. production for the long term br>An HP-based controller is ideal for achieving extreme precision. The B or Micron are both useful, but the C can spray finer and handle thicker paint. It can handle broad strokes, but I use a good automotive detail sprayer for really wide work that requires coverage. Clean-up will be easier if you are methodical in your rinsing. It's simple to get up. Spraying thicker paints/pigments may necessitate more cleaning, and you may need to disassemble the nozzle assembly from time to time. An airbrush cleaner with ribbed wires is better than bristles, which fall apart; I once had an airbrush body with internal threads worn too far by the wires, but that took a decade to repair. Gravity feed, including roughing it out for demonstrations and public works, is more reliable and durable in my opinion. br>Golden acrylics with a high flow rate work well in these. Only a few of the opaques clog in the absence of a medium. br>A MAC valve, as well as some type of moisture trap, is a very useful accessory. br>This will work with a variety of techniques such as watercolors, acrylics, inks, and so on. a mask for the filter With the MAC valve, I can reduce the airflow and use thinned paint to apply eye shadow to a 1-inch circle. Open it up and cover a large panel quickly, or add effects to the armor on a Warhammer figure. br>If you only have one brush, this is a great and dependable option.

Wow
5/5

After a year of struggling with a variety of low-cost airbrushes, I decided to invest in the Iwata high-performance airbrush. "Wow, what a difference," I can only say. br>The spray pattern is smooth and consistent, with no splutters, spitting, or clogging. It's also easy to clean and has an incredible range of control. This is an incredible airbrush!.

Simply go to the airbrush store and purchase it! This is a fantastic airbrush, but I'm guessing you already knew that because you're looking at it
5/5

It is well worth the money, if not more. I'm using it to replace my Badger Sotar 20/20, which is a great brush but can be fickle. With this visit in my Arsenal, I expect my Sotar to collect a lot of dust. Miniature paintbrushes are used to paint miniatures. I'd say it could easily do some fine detail work as well, though my skill level would have to improve dramatically before that. Cleaning is also a breeze with the stainless finish. After a quick wipe of the paint reservoir and a little airbrush cleaner run through it at the end of a session or during paint swaps, she's ready to go. Purchase it if you can afford it. You won't be disappointed, as you might be if you try to save a few dollars by purchasing a "similar" model.

The best airbrush of all time! I've gone through three cheap airbrushes (I won't say which brand) and this one makes my work look professional
5/5

It's also very simple to clean the airbrush. In addition, because I use water-based products, Cleaning is a breeze with oil-based paints. I've had the airbrush for a few weeks now and have used it every day without incident.
