The jar's purpose is to fill the brush with cleaner and spray it into the jar once you've finished your job. Continue in this manner until the brush is clean and only cleaner is being sprayed. The airbrush is also cleaned using the cleaning tool.
I've used it with my Paasche h model, but gravity feed brushes work best. To use it as a rest, you may need to take out either the needle or the cup, or both.
Yes. When the bottle is attached, this works as an excellent holder for all of my siphon airbrushes. To accommodate the paint bottle on the side, simply tilt the airbrush slightly. I keep my airbrushes in the garage, so I don't have to spray into the jar. Simply use it as a storage container.
I hand-screw mine on tight, just enough to get a good seal; if yours doesn't stay on, I recommend returning it. it's. most probably faulty

As long as a second securing method is used, it's still a good idea. Although it has a lot of potential, the lid's foam seal lifts the lid, preventing it from properly sealing. With the tiniest amount of pressure, it simply pops off. Which amount of pressure is required to pop the lid off by placing your airbrush on the included stand attached to the lid? br>br>I'm going to rubber band it shut as a temporary fix. Because the item's price is reasonable, and the cleaning utensils are included, it's a good deal. br>br>In essence, the lid was designed to fit the included jar perfectly, but the seal was added as an afterthought and was not originally designed for it. br>br>If you decide to keep the item (which is a good deal), make sure the lid is secured in some other way than just screwing it on before picking it up.
For the air brush, a glass pot with a handle and a stand is included. 8 cleaning brushes and a metal pipe cleaner are included, as well as 4 filters, one of which is installed and three spares. It really works. After a few uses, there is a problem with the lid seal. Either the lid seal is too large or it is stretching. I simply cut the seal, removed about a 16th of an inch of material, and reinstalled the seal with no problems. The seal isn't a deal breaker in any way. Overall, this is an excellent purchase. It's unquestionably less expensive than any hobby or craft shop.
So, I wasn't sure how I felt about it when I ordered it at first, but after receiving it, I realized why people buy it. It is extremely durable and well constructed. It starts with a heavy jar to hold the liquid, then moves up to a lid with a hole for the airbrush to slide into when cleaning it, and finally to an area with a cap with holes in it to hold the filter so air can escape as you clean your airbrush. Two attachments can be slid into the lid, the first of which goes in front of the hole for the airbrush and serves as a holder for the airbrush so it can be stored. The second attachment is placed directly beneath it and acts as a brace, preventing the jar from tipping over due to the weight of the airbrush when it is attached to an airline. As I previously stated, this item was extremely well-designed, and I'm glad I decided to add it to my collection. Good luck with your airbrushing!.
This is a must-have piece of airbrushing equipment. To maintain a consistent paint stream, run cleaning liquid through the airbrush on a regular basis. This gives you a place to put the cleaning fluid as well as a way to run it through. I think the product is well-designed, and it also provides a place to rest the airbrush when you're moving your project around with both hands. The cap does not screw on very well, which is the only drawback. When I try to tighten it down, the threads on the jar pop off, and it becomes loose once more. The simple answer is to not tighten it down too much, which is why there are only four instead of five starts.
My Grex Tritium airbrush isn't compatible with this style of holder. I did, however, figure out a way to get around it. By affixing a Q-cut The holder works if you press down on the trigger to lock it back (air pressure must be off, of course). When I spray the airbrush into the tank, I take the holder off. I also have a traditional airbrush that, of course, gets the holder all the time, though it does get easier to pop out over time. br>br>So, not ideal, but the benefits outweigh the minor inconvenience. br>br> Great cleaning pot and tool kit at a good price, especially for non-professionals. Airbrushes with a trigger.
Everything in the kit appears to be in good working order, but there is a serious flaw in the lid: if you move the jar just a little, the screw in the lid continues to spin, and if you don't notice and believe it is closed, the jar with all the contents will fall all over your floor, painting, clothes, sking, or whatever. It's incredible how things keep happening with some of the products I bought here, and my trust in them has dwindled over the last year.
This isn't a high-end product. I'm not expecting any miracles from this high-tech device. It does the job, but there are a few minor annoyances:
1. I had to create a three-dimensional model. Because my airbrush couldn't reach when it was in the holder, I had to print an extension for the "input" port. If I didn't want to spray everywhere, I'd have to take the holder off.
2. I'm still using it, but it's a lot messier and time-consuming than I expected. br>br>I'm still using it, but it's a lot messier and time-consuming than I expected. br>br>I'm still using it, but it's a lot messier and time-consuming than I expected.
It was initially very effective. Daily use for about a month or two. br>br>Then, out of nowhere, I insert my airbrush nozzle into the hole, and the entire black top piece falls out. I then try to thread it back on, but it just won't stay tight no matter what I do. I was fortunate in that no nasty toxic paint spilled all over me, but it will now if I do not permanently glue it together. This also means that I won't be able to clean out the pot properly when I need to in the future, making this a product I'll only be able to use for a limited time. br>br>I'm not impressed.
