Though its a nice product quality, the wood is solid and the finish is very nice.
Amazon has been home to some of my best purchases of all time. The easel makes it easier for me to adjust it as needed. If you wish to stand or sit, you can position your artwork high or low. is also compatible with a great deal of different sizes of artwork. There's a copy of this on my desk in my office. It's easy for me to slide over in my chair and paint at exactly the right height. Using this method, the easel will be right by my desk monitor where I can draw and paint from photos and other materials. No idea what kind of wood it is, but I think it is hardwood based on the color. Designed to be straight as an arrow (easy assembly) and smooth with a light finish, each piece is sanded to perfection. My favorite part about it is its sturdiness, and the ease of painting on it. I used to get frustrated with my old easel. It bounced around and was always shifting. A little assembly is needed, although a great product with cheap shipping can't be expected to be assembled in less than 20 minutes. It is definitely worth a try!.
The instructions are disappointing but the product is quality. We spent about two hours assembling it and it could have been completed much faster if there had been adequate instructions. Nowadays, MEEDEN skips the written instructions - just like a lot of businesses these days. The video is linked to the YouTube page, so I assume you are supposed to go watch it. Having done it, I noticed that the guy keeps rushing through everything, so you have to pause and restart. Our final assembly went well and we're pretty happy with the results.
It appears they have not been found online. I have searched for them online. Despite having owned the item for over a week, it is still lying on the floor in pieces due to my inability to locate instructions for assembly.
This was the most impressive instruction I have ever seen. The screws were packaged by step, and the instructions were clear and concise. This was a Christmas gift and I had been constructing a studio for quite a while, and today I finally got a chance to put it together. The whole process dreaded me, but I was pleasantly surprised how easy and quick it was to put it together. This chair has adjustable parts that can be rigid at first, but with time you will be able to bend them. The wood is nice, and has a nice finish, and is easy to clean and looks lovely. Having a baby is a wonderful thing!.
