Due to the fact that all of the guests were traveling from out of town, I had the items shipped. The party consisted of 10 guests, so we set up everything for them. The easel had been emptied of all the canvases five minutes after we began painting. In conclusion, if anyone is skeptical of their ability to hold a 16 x 20" canvas, the answer is definitely no! As soon as I finish this review, I will submit my request for a refund. The fact that they came already assembled was a plus for me. Taking them out of the package and unfolding them was all that was required. With that in mind, I think they would work.

It comes in a single box with all of the items individually wrapped and in good condition. Their design was absolutely stunning, and they I was only concerned about the way the box was mail, as there was no wrapping or tape to confirm the package had been sent successfully. The box arrived with only half of it open, and I am so grateful to be home when it arrived.

This is a great easel to use at a paint night with the family. As they are not snap-in so they can fall out if you put too much pressure on them I used an 8x10 canvas and it came out well. The idea of a larger canvas does not appeal to me. I think it's a good buy for the price compared to bigger As an FYI, the kids kept knocking them over, while the adults knew how much pressure to apply with ease.

We found these to be the perfect fit for our needs. We ordered these to use with a large 8 x 10 canvas that my daughter had requested a painting party at home. Despite the fact that my children were 7 years old, they held up well. They didn't tear at all. They are of better quality than I expected and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them. You should ensure that the support piece is fully extended (it tends to move) to ensure that it will work. They are a great value for the money, but I would make changes if I were to use them a lot.
