Questions & Answers

The Teacher Pro is different from the School Pro, how so? Based on their appearances, they appear to be similar. The benefits of one over the other don't seem to matter to me. ?

own both the Teacher Pro and the School Pro, and both sharpen pencils quite well, except that the Teacher Pro takes a lot longer. The size of the unit is not a problem for a home use or a small business. A classroom of 26 students has 26 people who are ANNOYING each other. You have to push the pencil far enough to make it work Children 7 years old have this problem - Taking the time is even more difficult. It may cause your sharpener to clog a bit if you sharpen pencils with their wrappers. it does seem to clean itself up if you manually rotate it. It has been over 10 years since I bought the School Pro (home use). Switching them out might be a good idea.

The plastic gearing mechanism in pencil sharpeners has caused my daughter to go through a lot of pencil sharpeners. Do the gears have plastic or metal parts?

Metal is used for the gears. There are two Z-types in my house Teachers Pro Electric pencil sharpener is one of the products offered by ACT pencil sharpeners. In the 26-34 age range There are 27 students left after they last two weeks It will take 3 years for the metal gears to need replacing.

What about colored pencils? Will this pencil sharpener work with them?

Because I recently had to replace the electric sharpener I bought a year ago, I have discovered that to extend the life of a colored pencil sharpener you need to alternate it with a regular graphite pencil Although I am not sure how many colored pencils I will sharpen with the one I recently purchased, I suppose I will do it soon.

I just got mine and one of the circles is missing the rubber footings. We have a real problem here, and it has nothing to do with the standard process! Can you tell me what needs to be done to fix this problem?

Consider Amazon as a replacement and don't buy from vendors who fail to meet quality standards.

Selected User Reviews For X-ACTO Pencil Sharpener | Teacher Pro Electric Pencil Sharpener, With Auto Adjust Dial, SafeStart Motor, SmartStop, Black, 1 Count

The situation is quite disappointing due to how things have been going up to When I read the many reviews of the hotel, I focused on the negative ones curious to find out why the rating was so low
4/5

A couple of reviews warned of exactly this issue Within just a couple of months of using it in the classroom, it stopped sharpening new (flathead) pencils. It means that the light appears before the pencil is actually sharpened, indicating that the pencil is fully sharpened. It has been superb up to this point, so this is a big letdown. After I conduct some research and contact the company, I am hoping there is something I can do, or they can do, to resolve this issue. Should not happen, I will seek a replacement and update this post. Until then, keep your distance! It's ok I have updated The machine doesn't have any more issues since I cleaned the swirled blades thoroughly -- so for those who are having problems, give this a shot!.

A new winner has been announced for ACT Teacher Pro! As a teacher, I provide instruction to students
5/5

In the new school year, I have to keep a supply of sharpened pencils available for students (Students trade un-sharpened pencils up to the next day. If you don't have a sharp pencil, sharpen yours). In other words, I will be sharpening a lot along with my colleagues. As part of a school project, I ordered 3 electric sharpeners to compare (and to share with other teachers at the This X-ray is the one I bought Take advantage of our Act Teacher Pro Electric offer for $ 29. Tatji Classroom Heavy Duty for $35, a price of $99, is also available. The Avalon Titanium Blade Fully Automatic Heavy Duty sells for $49, but it is also available for $99 from Amazon. The only pencils I have tried so far are wooden #2 pencils. I found that all of them produced sharp points quickly. The following are five possibilities for how this X-ray machine can be used One of my FAVORITE and BEST acts is the Act Sharpener The game is awesome It's quiet here! With its large work surface it can sharpen many kinds of pencils and its ability to sharpen many thicknesses of pencils There is a compartment for shavings, and a blue light that comes on when the pencil is sharp and stops sharpening when it reaches the desired sharpness (so you don't over sharpen and tear pencils) (love it! As far as I am concerned, the second best sharpener is the Avalon, but dude! You'll hear it loud and clear! Apparently, this device takes down a pencil, sharpens it, then pops it back up, but it is much noisier and costs much more. Compared to these other two, the Tatji has the least impressive design, but it does the job It seems to be better suited for home use only. So I guess I will have to wait and see which stands the test of time the longest. The above information is intended to be.

I'm sure it was great in the beginning, but by the end of the first quarter (9
3/5

So I got this over the summer and I thought I'd give it a try There is no longer a way to access it. Buying it for my classroom is a good idea I began using it in the middle of the year My pencil sharpener breaks more often than I would like, so I don't sharpen a lot of pencils in class. In the work room, I use the sharpener most of the time. A sharpener like this has never had more than five works done on it It is rare to use new, unsharpened pencils at a time, and only about 10 pencils at a time. As soon as it began, it worked well, but by the end of first quarter (9 weeks later), it was ineffective. In the past, it was known to freeze up after a few pencils that only needed "touching up" because their tips were dull. Even a dull pencil is now impossible for me to sharpen. The event begins and ends If it freezes, I can put it in again after a second or two however, I cannot get it to work Find out what you can do to get more from I must go to my cabinet to sharpen a pencil rather than to go to my desk and sharpen one Replacing the old one should do the trick. We are coworkers A similar sharpener and strop were used by both workers I experienced the same thing. The kids used its cousin all the time so it thought hers broke and threw it away New pencils were sharpened as I sharpened them in class. There was no point in buying it if I did not know better.

In reality, it works very With one exception, that is
5/5

With a sharpener, I can really put it to the test. I find that this one works most of the time. There are some pencils, however, that can break off when the lead gets a little out of center while going through the machine, and then you have to open up the pencil to get it to work again. Although I like that it has variable holes, the colored pencil is a little distracting. So far, I have not found a better solution. There is just a need for a small tool to remove the lead from the machine, and then it would be great. When I tried to put a razor blade into the slot, it was too narrow. There are just multiple pencils in my bag. Drawn or drafting pencils of any kind. You will not have a problem with Prisma Colors or other wax-like leads.

If you sharpen a needle- Keep your fingers out of your mouth - Point of interest
5/5

A pencil is not one size fits all. There are pencils like yellow #2, colored pencils like Crayola, expensive art and scrapbook pencils and tree logs with All of them can be sharpened with this sharpener. As a multi-faceted organization It holds the pencil straight and true because it has a diameter selector. Cut at a solid angle. In my humble opinion, I would like to add The sharp point of a needle - Keep your fingers out of your mouth - Point of interest. This would be a good gift for John Wick. * The auto-translation must be performed by the user "Kids" are prevented from taking brand new #2's and grinding them down to a nub by shutting it off. To be honest, just for fun. It's easy to tell by the sound that it has a very heavy grinder/sharpener by the sound of the motor. Tomorrow won't be the end of it for me. **As far as length is concerned, it is quite The chord is well secured. Measured it but did not record So far, I haven't experienced any broken leads after using two boxes of Crayola pencils and a pack of #2s. As a result, I stuck in a couple of round brown carpenters pencils since I couldn't find thin ones The round ones work great. I haven't tried them yet for the flat ones. A second item to test.
The bucket contains a large amount of shavings. The way it sharpens mine and my wife's wayyyy overpriced art pencils without cracking them. The grandchild begged for it to be used. A mechanical pencil probably won't do the trick. It's probably not a good idea to use crayons In addition, felt tip markers such as Sharpies should not be used. *Neither tactical self-defense nor military force These are the pennies used for defense. You shouldn't use the eraser end of the eraser. The best classroom, home school, and office toy you could ever imagine. I'm sorry I didn't get one It is a wonderful gift that can be kept forever. It would be fun (pun intended.
