Negatives If you are a beginner artist or designer, these pens are a great value. The ink looks 90% gray when compared to other blacks, and some of the line thicknesses look too similar (see image).
While I have tried many types of pens as an artist, my go to was Copic brand. But I have been enjoying these pens more than my copic ones, and they are half the price. They are not as big as the copic ones The number 8 and a zero are both correct Ohuhu set comes with a brush pen for the larger sizes, and it has a nice range of sizes to encompass both small and large parts of lineart. I have included images of my work that I have lined completely with these Ohuhu You should definitely check them out!.
After picking up the pastel alcohol markers, I also got to try out some fineliners as a bonus, so I'm going to review Firstly, you'll find a large selection of brush and nib sizes for an incredible price. I bought a second set just because they were so affordable. It is possible to use all fineliners with even the harshest inks or watercolors, and believe me, I didn't make them easy to use. This set of fineliners would be great if you're just getting started or you're looking for a good set at a good price. This is a great set of tools that I am going to use a lot.
They really work great with my Ohuhu markers and other alcohol-based markers, and I am very happy with In comparison to other fine liners I have tried, their color dries much faster, and they don't smear as much. After my lineart, I easily removed the pencil lines. I chose this D&D and I was not disappointed. As you can see by the D character I tested if they were going to bleed into my yellow like some of my other fine liners did, and I think that if it did, it's almost undetectable! They are very fine liners and I am happy with them. Also, you get a good variety of shapes and sizes for the price of the pack. It's likely I will purchase this set again in the future.
The material dries quickly. These pens are great! I haven't had any problems with them drying quickly or smudging when I add markers. They have a standard range of sizes and tips that do not get felty after extended use like those from It comes with a brush pen that works pretty well compared to some of the other brands, and all the pens flow in a really consistent manner. The white casing actually works in my favor since it picks up ink that gets on my fingers and I can see it immediately, which makes it much easier for me to keep Ink spills are hard to notice on black or grey pens, and I have ruined plenty of drawings which did not turn out well because of a dirty pen rolling across the These pens provide dummy proof to my sloppiness as I am messy artist. This is an A+ product at a very affordable price. Microns are expensive and I dislike using them. I normally use Staedler Pigment Liners, which have a deeper black than the Ohuhu pens, but the Ohuhu dry almost immediately and I have no However, brush pens, like any other brand, will smudge since they go on heavier, so when I use them, I let them dry for a minute just to be on the safe side. My experience with these pens so far has been great. I have put in about 60 hours using them. The next time I purchase these, I will buy them Time and time.
So, when I saw these I really wanted to love them since they are so These markers work fantastic with alcohol markers, no smudging or smearing needed. Drying time is pretty quick, but they are not completely The attached photos can be viewed here. As well, they dry in a dark greyish, rather than a black, color. They are intended for use with alcohol markers and water mediums, but I will only use them for alcohol markers so I won't damage them. These are the markers you should buy if you are looking to use them with your markers.
They are fantastic! I used them in the last three pieces I have created and they are wonderful! To me, the are the best sizes. 1 and 7 are the two numbers. Despite the fact that the pens did not smear, smudge, or slip, they fared well with the Ohuhu alcohol pastel markers and the Azure alcohol markers. As far as I can tell, my ink was 100% black and I was unable to detect any gray-colored ink. This is a Mars Black ink and there are two packs of them.
I'd like to start by disclaiming not a professional artist by any stretch of the imagination, and I'm a beginner artist too. I do prefer how the ohuhu fineliners feel in my hands over the Sakura pigment microns. On the rest of her body I used some fineliners by ohuhu and on her hair I used a nylon brush pen by copic. The ink is grey rather than black, and the copic is what I believe to be the finest black that I could find. In addition to this, I don't hate the grey either, so I'm not too upset, but I did give it 4 stars because I think it should be labeled as gray ink or more of an ivory black, and not a true black. As for my favorite products, I will still be using my Sakura and Copic brush pens, and the Ohhuhu fineliner will be my continuous companion. Of course there is always room for improvement, so I would enjoy seeing Ohuhu produce more fineliners" with a similar improved formula and color also, with a similar ease of application.
