However, a couple of the pens disintegrated in my Cricut machine, for reasons I don't understand. I could see the very small amount of ink in each pen after they were disassembled. For those who are unfamiliar with how a Cricut works, there is no reason for a pen to come apart; it functions exactly as if a person were holding the pen and writing.
As you can see on the watching sheet, these Craft World markers for Cricut machine worked just as well as the name brand, and they come in a variety of colors, even if some of them were very similar. A sturdy plastic base was included in the package as an added bonus for storing and displaying the markers. In general, this is a fantastic deal.
They were all in great shape when they arrived. Nothing was shattered or dried up. The pens are held in place in the box with a small plastic stand, which is completely useless if you intend to store these upside down, but otherwise it's a nice touch!br>br>4 stars because some colors are too similar to be very useful and a few are too light to be much use in Cricut lineart. br>br>The pens are held in place in the box with a small plastic stand, which is completely useless if you intend to store these upside down,.
Excellent value for money. They work and fit properly in the Cricut machine. My drawbacks are as follows: br> Is it just me, or are the colors not as vivid as I had hoped? The black marker, for example, does not write as darkly as a Cricut black marker. It has a more translucent appearance. br>All of the colors have a translucent quality to them when written. br>On one project, the line crossed a single point several times, and the marker ate right through my card stock.
They are a VALUE FOR MONEY, not EXCELLENT, not BAD, just VALUE FOR MONEY. If you just want some extra colors that the Cricut brand doesn't sell or make, these are a good option. As you can see, the colors are completely incorrect. They weren't labeled with what color they were, so I had to make up names as I went. CraftWorld is on the right, and iBayam Journaling Pens are in the left box. CraftWorld Pens Also Have Duplicate Colors, And Some Colors Are Either Extremely Too Light Or Just Drying Out, It's Hard To Tell. Overall, I give it three stars.
The markers are extremely useful. They're what I use with my Cricut Air 2.
PROS:
- They were perfectly compatible with my Cricut Explore Air 2br>- They came with a cute little plastic stand, which I really like. br>- Cons: Bold Color with Clear Linesbr>br>PROS: Bold Color with Clear Linesbr>br>CONS: Bold Color with Clear Lines
- Each pen has a very small amount of ink. I was making birthday invitations for my daughter's party, and one pen could only handle one invite (each invitation had five lines). This occurred with a total of seven different colorsbr>- The lighter colors appear to contain even less ink than the bolder colors. The lavender ink would only last for one invitation before it ran out. I used one of my Cricut pens to make all 12 invitations, and I'm still using it, so I don't think these pens are worth the money.
Also, it's a great deal, well worth the money. With my Cricut Air 2, it works perfectly.
