For beginners it was amazing however the charcoal did not really work well I guess. And I didn't think it would be good as no one had written reviews yet. When I got it in June it was hard to believe it would be good since no reviews had been posted. However, it turned out very well!.
It was a birthday present for my son, so I purchased it. He loves to sketch and draw, and he's a beginner. I think this was a good value for the price, and he was very happy with the sketches.
In a convenient case, you can put almost everything you need for drawing in one place. For the price, the quality is good.
I would like to pick up another older one. I had an AMAZING time.
Considering this is a cheap art set, you're getting a lot for your money. As well as a sketchbook, this set contains all kinds of supplies and pencils. We were very happy with the blending tools! Someone just starting out in drawing and sketching may find this a good set to start with. It's fair to say that you get what you pay for on the downside. It was difficult to work with the charcoal set. The softest charcoal was hard to blend and failed to blend as well as I'd hoped. Despite the fact that I was using an extremely rough sketchbook, I was still able to work with charcoal quite well due to the pigments being not as dark as most charcoal that I have worked with in the past. All in all, I was impressed by the number of supplies for the price, but be prepared to make some concessions to the.
I would say that this set is a lot more high-quality than you might expect. You might think you would need to go to the art supply store and purchase all of these items separately to be of good quality, but that's not true. The quality is excellent despite the unknown brand here. I have been buying art supplies since I was a teenager and have used them professionally since then. At the age of 15, my daughter is buying art supplies and making an extensive list of supplies she needs for There were at least half the items on her list that were included in this set-- This includes all the pencils she needs, the charcoal, the erasers, and the stumps they're not of poor quality either Everything about them is perfect. This case is awesome as well. Each tool has its own designated place so they don't just lay around and break, causing all kinds of pencil dust to accumulate in It is recommended.
The pencils are great and the erasers are great. Both the pencil extension and the art knife were of poor quality. Despite its small size, the sketch pad contains quite a few images.
