Questions & Answers
The answer is yes. This is a very nice device. The thick lead makes them durable, and they lay down well as I like how the colors mix together as well. Their music really appeals to me.
It is recommended to buy the Expert Watercolor Pencils (WCP). There are a number of color names for each of these shades Lightfastness information is also the same, but the paint is not nearly as strong as the core. My Expert WCP has been in place since January 2019 & A broken lead has never happened to me before They remained with me every day, even when they were a part of my daily life. It was my pleasure to receive the Premium WCP set for my 7 year old niece and nephew today As they are being sharpened and polished I found that three of the leads were broken when comparing them to my Expert set. Although both sets are great, the break-up set is the more attractive of the two Using an Expert WCP with a resistant core is a great idea. As a result of the core breakage issue with the Premium, you'll have to replace them a lot faster than with the Expert. You can save your money if you do this. You can buy them at a discount if you wait for a sale. You can read more here & here In addition to Arteza's website, I purchased my Expert WCP pencils from Amazon for just about $20. I purchased my Premium pencils at Arteza's website for just about $12. Just make sure that you run a better sale than the competitor. AVOID buying from both sites unless you are 100% sure.
The answer is yes if you are referring to water color pencils. An instructor told me in a water color class that you can sharpen your own brush with a knife you can buy at
I'm sorry, but I don't know how to answer this question since I only worked with watercolor paintings Using pencils as a replacement for water color paints when you paint dolls might be an interesting try. In both instances, they work similar to each other.

Let me start by telling you that I did not purchase the Arteza Watercolor Pencils as a professional. These were bought for a little girl who loves to color, but refuses to put her marker pens back in their caps! I was searching for colored pencils for my 8-year-old granddaughter, who loves the bright, vivid colors of magic markers, but destroys them within days of opening a new pack, when I came across these pencils, at a price that just couldn't be passed up. The first thing I did was to order them for her, and then, solely for my own selfish benefit, I ordered a set of "the best quality" pencils I could find, from another company. As both sets arrived on the same day, I opened this set of pencils for Natasha and we got started with her homework. The color was beautiful and she was delighted with it as well! Upon opening my own set of pencils (that were "much better quality", I was We have tested the Arteza large, soft core Watercolor Pencils on every type of paper and they worked perfectly without lumps or chips. As a gift for my little one, I bought a 48 pencil set, and to myself a 16 pencil set. Definitely better, and I must admit that I am just a tad jealous, but I promise that I will not have any of these great pencils taken from her, although I might be tempted to borrow them occasionally, knowing that they will not There are a lot of great pencils out there. I wish I had found them sooner. In the past year, I have wasted money on many different markers and crayons. I could have bought five sets of these pencils (for my own use)!.
Considering the price range, you would think that these are more likely to be artist-grade watercolor pencils. I mistakenly bought them thinking these were just 48 The class grade is what they are, not their They are not horrible, but they are not great either. For the price, the color range is good, but I gave Arteza three stars due to lack of explanations. I had to return the Students in the Premium grade are in the top tier of their class. * "Expert" refers to a level of expertise. It would be a lot easier if this were explained in their marketing somewhere and not withheld from me and only disclosed after the fact and withholding it from me.
My favorite part about this product was the soft core. This gives the heavier paper a really nice feel. Pencil-shaped pencils have a very natural feel to them and feel very comfortable. While rounding some of the tips to avoid unintended one-sided wear, I found myself rounding some of the ends as well. The colors in this set are stunning, and they make this set stand out. My favorite brand so far from the many products I have tried throughout the years has been the Arteza brand. No, I am not a professional artist, just someone who loves to draw, and these pencils were exactly what I was looking.
I was hesitant because I had heard some negative reviews about them, but I decided to try them because I was new to watercolors Despite being wet and dry, I'm really impressed with the pencils. As with regular colored pencils, they can be used for coloring and they get even more vibrant when water is added. There is something nice about the container in which they arrived and how they are pre-packed A sharpened edge. On the box side a hand color guide can be seen featuring both the name of each color and a color guide for each pencil. Pencils with a triangular shape are easy to hold, and they can be sharpened with regular pencil sharpeners. While they are not professional grade pencils, the price they are at is great.
This is a cream and apricot treat! Probably the biggest reason for knocking off a star is the way they are packed in the box. It appeared that the top of the lid had fallen off, and pencils were flying all over the box. I am guessing shipping gave the box a rough handling, and some pencils were broken. As someone who has worked with pencils for the last 5 years, I know if they are fractured throughout the casing, they are done for. Thus, I would advise an art company to use stronger marketing materials if Amazon and shipping are going to be the primary platforms. As a simple test, I did a color chart. Then I crossed hatched over the color with my aqua brush and spread it a bit. The colors are vibrant and it's a good job layering and mixing them. The outcome of this review will ultimately depend on whether it remains 4 stars after long-term use. The triangle shape of the pencils is a little hard for me, but it made adjusting my grip a piece of cake. And they're already sharpened, so I have to sharpen the whole batch after I handle detail work. However, first impressions indicate that this might be able to function pretty well as a travel journal and not be crushed if the journal gets destroyed during transport.
The pigment is highly saturated, blended, and soluble in water. This pencil has a good hold on it and is not too soft or An entry-level watercolor set is less expensive and not comparable to what is available in the children's crayon section new to intermediate watercolor artists will appreciate a set that is less expensive As an art supply, it is of a real quality and not that of a This is where you can find watercolors that are not expected to be professional grade, yet operate admirably and are within your price range.
These were purchased as portable watercolors that I can take with me on trips. I don't have to worry about them getting messy in my bag because they pack nicely. Getting a water filled brush to spread the color was the perfect combination, as well as the lid on for protection.
Using a triangular pencil while drawing or writing is very comfortable since it has a triangular shape. On both the pencil and the case are labels for each color. I would definitely recommend buying it and then putting it to use.
