Questions & Answers

Do you like prisma colors better than others?

It is impossible to compare Prismacolor Premier to anything else. It is the softest wax pencil and the only one that is lightfast. Artists prefer it. In spite of this fact, not everyone prefers Prismacolor over Arteza, especially when it comes to There is a lower wax level in Arteza and this is preferred by some. The wax is plentiful, so in no time at all they can shade, shadow and multiply. The tip of the pencil should be blended but not so much that it breaks. The Prismacolors I have are far too "crayony" to color.

Can you tell me if these are wax or oil ?

Pencils made of wax are used in this way. The back of the box even says "Wax-" It states that it is "based" on

The whereabouts of these items were recently inquired about. Their manufacturing is not done in the United States. This product is made in China. What I have in mind. The reason they are so expensive, if made in China, is that they are made in China?

There is a great deal of savings on the Arteza website. Shipping is free as well. The quality of a product depends on what it's made with and how it's made. There are no words to describe how wonderful these pencils are with thick, Sharpening and holding a point is easy with these tools. As of yet, I have not suffered any breakage issues. I purchased a 120 set from Arteza for the second time. As soon as I purchased the 72 set, I had to get the 120 set as well. The decision has never been regrettable.

What are the blending and layering properties of pencil crayons?

The answer is yes. There is a good amount of pigment and they are fairly soft.

I would compare it to Holbein
5/5

In my collection, I have over 50 sets of colored pencils, ranging from no-name dollar store sets to professional brands like Faber Castell Polychromos, Caran d'ache Pablo, It seemed to me the Arteza Expert pencils were similar to Holbein pencils, including the appearance of the pencils and the overall In comparison with Holbein pencils, these are waxier. I was amazed at how effortlessly and smoothly they glided on the paper. The tip isn't scratchy at all and still has a pinpoint sharp edge. I am very pleased with the pigment laydown. Colors in this set are great and they are unique colors that I haven't found in other sets, except for the black not being as strong black as I would expect from a higher quality pencil. The black tone is more of a dark gray tone to me than an actual I like that the tin the pencils come in is heavy than many other brands and that the lid is hinged instead of two pieces. The wax in these pencils may lead to wax bloom, but as of yet I cannot tell since I've only had them a short time. The quality of these pencils is remarkable for the price point and they have become my favorite. A second set of the same is already on its way. You should definitely pick this set up!.

The following has been updated Please use your own discretion when buying! During the span of time that I have owned the "72" pack, I have gone through several sets
3/5

As I wear them to cubbyholes I achieve a nod of appreciation from my viewers. The order has been placed for As a result, I would usually buy a couple of O err mc iou lsd from other brands to supplement the Arteza pencils. The palette of Arteza pencils had always been too small for me, even though I loved them. Now I can get my hands on them all! This new 120-piece pencil set has a truly unique palette of colors! My cart filled up immediately when I saw this new box of pencils. This is a rare find at an affordable price. Before, it was nearly impossible to find a wax based pencil with a good pallet at a reasonable price. I have been able to fulfill my pencil wish for this month (December 2019) from two wax-based brands. 150 pencils based on Pantone colors are available from Arteza and another brand. Getting excited doesn't seem to be enough for me! I just received my Arteza colored pencils about 2 days ago. As I mentioned earlier, they have always been one of my favorites. Unfortunately, they come in a rather small palette. In expanding their palette to 120 colors and shades, they (Arteza) did a great job picking colors and shades. The outcome couldn't be more perfect for me. Now that my prisms are well rested, they should be able to rest for quite a while. * If you haven't tried the professional line of Artezas pencils, you ought to take a look at them as soon as possible. Yes, you can try out a small pack of pencils before you purchase the big kahuna set of 30! Yet I promise you that you'll be back for more pretty soon. It is almost always a good idea to purchase as large of an item as you can. You won't be disappointed. In the next few days, I will post pictures of the old pallet of 72 pencils, and one of the new pallet of The differences between the 2 sets look amazing. (Please excuse my messy swatch chart. My objective is to make them for actual use, not for aesthetic reasons). I wish you a very blessed day, a colorful one, and a most blessed week! I am looking forward to February 2021 The following update has been made In the end, I discovered that Arteza pencils have a defect that the company knows about. During my project over a week, I discovered that its products have a defect which the company Here is how I will explain it I finished my picture after finishing my drawing spray it with a fixative to prevent the pencil from smearing, as I was very pleased with it. Be aware that these are wax-based pencils and cannot be dissolved in water. All the colors ran when I sprayed the fixative on my picture! When I contacted Arteza, their customer service reps confirmed that they are aware of the defect. They say that they have fixed the formula, but no one can tell which boxes contain the new formula. There is a mixture of all of them. basically, neither pencils nor formulas can ever be sent and they can't even be certain of the replacement. There's a random element to it! It didn't seem real to me until I experienced it myself. I had seen several videos about this. There is a fee for these pencils because they are intended to be a professional grade, "expert" pencil. I would say that these pencils are only good for kids, or to throw away. This is the last time I'll spend money on Arteza!.

It appears that 23 duplicates have been received! They are not nearly as smooth as some of the reviews suggest
3/5

Often, a lot of pressure is required, but the color is bright and the covering is good. The set I received did not include 72 colors, and I had 23 duplicates which was my biggest problem.

You did an excellent job! A colored pencil with vibrant colors is what I live for! The end is near! I was surprised at how well the colors blended! If you like to color or sketch, this would be a great recommendation
5/5

Although I am not a professional artist, I enjoy coloring as a hobby and these pencils have quickly become favorites! I have tons of colored pencils, including prismcolor, and these pencils have very nice colors. Each pencil has the color written on its So far, I have not faced any breaking or sharpening issues. The purchase was an excellent choice for me!.

I feel it is overpriced for what it is! These products were recommended to me by several positive There is a lot of wax on these pencils and they are very amateur/child quality, at least in comparison to the Prismacolor brand
3/5

The color is weak. From an artistic standpoint, I think it has no value. For children, it is fine, but it is kind of pricey. The item will be returned in exchange for a 72 pencil set of prismacolor premiers, which can be purchased on Amazon for just.

The pencils are excellent for those on a budget
5/5

These pencils get five stars across the board! The colors of these blocks of wood are beautiful and extremely vivid at the same time, the cores are very sturdy Having trouble finding a secondary pencil that will work well with Prismacolors but hold a point, I decided to check these out. I was amazed at how well these pencils performed. The colored names of the colors are printed very large on the pencils, as well as the lightfast rating. They have a very nice weight to them, and feel great in your hand. I really like how large the color names are. There is no doubt these pencils look beautiful and like a much higher end product than the price would suggest. I am very happy with this purchase and will be purchasing the 72-piece set as soon as possible. I have blended Artezas and prismacolor to make the attached picture. The Arteza is used everywhere on this coloring with the exception of.
