Based on the fantastic reviews, I bought these, but I think it was a waste of There are several issues at stake There is a lot of brushing needed to lift the pencil marks below the colors when water is applied, and they do not dissolve well with water. The slight lift in the grain of the paper (I used 200 gsm watercolour paper) is what gives this painting its character. While the pencil wood is a stark contrast to some of the colors, many of them look very similar to each other. No. 18 & No. 19 A number of the numbers are nearly identical as are those of numbers 50, 51 and 52 as well as those of 070 and 080 Some of the colours aren't very pigmented, such as 071, for example. Grey black appears to be a few shades lighter than silver (067). Reviewing these pencils is outside the scope of this review since I haven't yet tried them. It is for the way Amazon displayed them in the middle of prismacolor pencils (which were my search terms) without including the brand name alongside Now I have to settle for a p72 pencil set of generic watercolor pencils instead of the high-quality prismacolors pencils they want. The error is technically my fault because I did not double check my order, but I'm quite disappointed. (I can't bring myself to try to return anything now that the delivery folks are so busy due to the virus. ).

Hello Benjamin, I do wood burning projects. Recently, I decided to use watercolor pencils to create more with them. I got a few that worked in the beginning, but I needed more colors. After finding your product, I was blown away! I love these colors, really love that they come in so many different shades and even have tan and brown and tan.
