I do chalk work for businesses and I use them a lot for the illustration area of the walls. While they're not permanent, the other person says they work fine on a chalk wall.

As an example, I could have used something close to "raw Sienna" and "yellow ochre", but out of the 24 colors, these aren't in the palette. In the case of "burnt Sienna" , "red ochre", and "burnt umber" only the closest match can be found. It's surprising how well these soft pastels work on velour paper for their low price. It blends well and leaves a lighter dust trail. I will buy this product.
These are the kind of markers I use to sketch, to doodle, to enjoy the colors on sketch pads, canvas, and I consider this to be a good value for my money.
