Questions & Answers
It is oil/wax pastel and it comes in two sizes the Caran d'Ache Neopastel and the Faber-Castell Neopastel Unlike soft pastels, pastels in the color category of pastels are powdery, soft, and dry. It is clear that there a large difference in quality and expectations here, in spite of the distinction in apples and oranges (actually, they are apples and oranges). If someone uses a Faber-Castell, for example, all of their data will be destroyed It makes no sense to compare soft pastels and Neopastels in this regard, since the pigments in soft pastels should be lightfast, while Neopastels are all rated for lightfastness, but, as of the last time I checked, they were mostly good to excellent. Thank you. I hope this was helpful.
A half stick and a quarter stick One and a half inches. The box in which mine arrived from England was significantly larger than the box in which the Faber-Castells arrived A plain, unpackaged, solid box in a dark color. In the Faber, the sticks were so tightly packed that I expected a disaster but it turned out to be a success. It was only when they were inside the castill box (which is itself enclosed in a tightly fitted sleeve) that the pastels survived intact.
This is not an item I am familiar with. There are 72 in the set, and I find them to be good. Possibly a difference in pastel length, but I have no way of knowing for certain. It may also have been a different color range as well, but that is uncertain as well.

In fair condition, the box has a few marks around the edge, but nothing has been broken. It appears that the pastel is about two inches in diameter, which is great if you're going to use a brush but could cause problems if you're going to use it directly. This being said, they range from soft to more of a medium firmness, depending on the The set has a nice range of pastel colors, and is quite inexpensive, so it's a good choice for those who want to enter the pastel world. One thing I would like to point out is that the box, as you can see in the pictures, has a little wax paper coating on it which shifted during transit and contaminated some of the pastels. In particular, it caught the eye around the black colors and the pink and orange colors next to them. There is an easy fix, as you can remove the color by wiping away the excess pastel as it did not.
These have just been delivered to me. Despite being damaged and delivered on time, none of the ties were lost. I used them to add color to the collage Buying these again would be a good idea.
This is a great collection of The color range of this set is sufficient to use alone as I am an art student and originally used the gallery's brand of pastels, but needed a wider range than the 24 available. Because the size of this model is smaller than the other models, I was a little worried, but they fit well and don't feel too tiny. They are vibrant and work well for overlays and blending. You need to have the right paper (only if you have it). The quality of these is a little fancier than what I would recommend for true beginners, but if you end up sticking with this medium this would be a great one to learn and improve upon.
The colors range from vibrant and soft to neutral and blend easily. I really like that it's small and lightweight, so it's great to use outdoors & on the go. Taking a trip. Half of the sticks are split There are quite a few of them due to their size. These go fast if you draw a lot of them. I am glad I purchased this product and will probably get a couple more later on. As a bonus There are clear names and numbers on all the sticks on the back cover, so you will not have to guess what color they are. They are numbered and colored the same as other Faber-Castell related products Whether it is polychrome color pencils or oil pastels, the products from Castell are among the finest. A good way to create art is to use different media. I received my sticks without a scratch thanks to rapid and flawless international delivery.
I ordered this item unaware that the seller was an international buyer. When I had made the order, I emailed the seller and enquired if I could get it a bit sooner to finish a project for school and the shipping time just wasn't going to work. I was able to get a refund straight away when the customer service representative pulled my order from shipping. It was only my deadline that prevented me from waiting for these, but the price was so good. Sadly, I had to settle for a lesser brand in order to complete my order. Since the price is so low, I am highly likely to reorder these in the future as the delivery time is so short. For their exceptional ability to accommodate my needs and their willingness to work with me, I give them five.
I already had Cont'e, General and Rembrandt pastels in my collection and now have Faber-Castell pastels as well. is a fantastic brand of headphones for the money. Despite the fact that this product is so great, I intend to buy another box for myself, the colors are vibrant, blend well, and the selection is great. We were surprised to see that the product arrived before the expected time and was as well packed as there was not one broken item in the box. This seller has already sold me a product and I have been satisfied with it then too. It was delivered rapidly, it was well packaged, and it was a great product at a reasonable price. There is no doubt in my mind.
To make my paper flowers, I would use these soft pastels. Before I applied the pastel to my paper and blended it I saw that the colors were very pigmented, but as soon as I applied them and blended a bit I realized the colors were Furthermore, they are covered in an unsightly film that is difficult to remove. In the process of trying to remove the film from the pastels, you end up wasting a bunch of them before you actually figure out what to do with them. Pastel paint also turns into about 75% powder when applied to paper, and only a small amount of it actually sticks to the paper while the rest It's so frustrating as you burn through all the pastels, which are already very Instead of spending this money on buying PanPastels, I should just buy them. The trip was a huge waste of money for me.
I created this drawing using soft pastels, which is my first attempt. My eyes have wandered to a couple of videos and I've found them The set of pastels I bought is inexpensive, has a variety of colors, and seems to be reasonably smearing. I'm not sure if they are really soft, but I do think they will be able to blur. Having mixed and blended them, I am pleased with the results. Most of the work I've done since 1989 has been with charcoal and graphite. I've attempted colored pencil and watercolor pencil but was not successful. At the moment, I am still at the very beginning stage of learning My lines can still be sharp, yet I can be loose when I draw them. The next time I draw, I'll try something else Despite my aversion to them, I don't completely give up. My fingers get smeared a little by them, but so do charcoal pads.
