Questions & Answers

Unless the paper is very thin, does it bleed through?

The markers are alcohol-based, but I do not have the set you're describing. In general, alcohol-based markers tend to bleed through any paper, unless special marker paper is used. Use a sheet of marker paper behind what you are doing and do not use these for double sided things, unless you are making it so the same colors are on the other side of the paper as well. It is likely that alcohol ink will bleed even through thick

What are the ingredients in them? Are they water-based or alcoholic? Is it possible to blend them?

As they are alcohol based, you can blend them. Blending these products is very easy. Markers like these are highly recommended.

Do you receive a blending marker along with it?

No, the set does not come with blending markers.

When the colors overlap, are they very streaky? What do you think of the colors? Are they too bright in your opinion?

My reason for buying them was that they don't steak very well. They are not very bright, in my opinion. Coloring with them is my favorite thing to do. This marker looks a lot

There are a wide variety of alcohol markers available
5/5

This is the third set in this series I have bought, and I used them for illustration and adult coloring a lot, and now I am picking up this set to complement the others. I wish they were larger in size. Each of these markers came in a very heavy canvas plastic bag, which was perfect. The marker itself is triangular in shape and has a broad end tip and a pointy end There are a total of 50 colors, including many bright ones. There is an indication of the name and color number on the marker caps. have any experience with the SoftTouch Series markers, especially the latest set, then you'll probably find that these work similar to them. I find they work best on cardstock and heavier papers. As they dry, you will see how nicely these lay down. They do not streak at all. Blending is no problem at all with these markers, and layering is not an issue either. As with all alcohol markers, these do bleed through paper, particularly thinner paper, so this needs to be taken into consideration. A blender for alcohol won't be included in this set. To give you an idea of how the colors blend and lay down, I have attached a picture that was done using only this collection of colors. I did not use any blenders with this picture. I think this is a great starter set for everyone. The colors for this set are great, and unlike some other sets you won't find I am very pleased with this set and I think it represents excellent value.

Alcohol inks are a portable, no-mess way for you to get started! The markers are so versatile that they could literally change your life if you are looking for a creative outlet
5/5

If you are fascinated by alcohol ink art, but hesitant about using toxic fumes (as found on alcohol ink bottles), then these are the markers for you. You can use them on smooth, non-porous surfaces Use them on old cracked pieces of porcelain or try them on porous surfaces. Up until now, I have been using Yupo paper, basic tiles, and pieces of broken pottery and plates. When it comes to blending, lightening and removing color, I use 91% isopropyl alcohol. It is also efficient to use a small hair dryer on a low setting to speed up While the markers don't dry quickly like water, they do dry fairly fast when left alone. If you are using Yupo polyproplyene paper, gel pens are great for highlighting text. Here's a set of brushes and a pair of q-tips In addition to tips, there are also resources. There is a great deal of fun in tiling because you are able to work on something, wipe the tile clean with alcohol, and then get back to it. The fact that they are cheaper than Yupo papers is just a bonus. If you use these markers on regular paper, they won't show up as well. It is said that glossy photo papers can be used on the back, but I haven't tried it myself.

Invest in a larger set if there are too many browns, grays, and greens
4/5

In general, I think these markers are great for their price point, as they blend pretty nicely, but these are my two biggest complaints I don't love the colors and the fact that the marker is streaky (but you can expect it at some level, it is a marker). When you remove ALL of the gray, brown, and green shades, you will have only 25 markers left. I highly recommend it if you need to mix and match There are no words to describe how awesome this set is! It'd be better to go with the larger set if you want to choose hues ranging from white to black.

The color is very dark and there is a strong chemical smell as well
3/5

Making homemade greeting cards and giving them to friends and family is something I enjoy doing. A large selection of Tombow Dual Brush Markers and Copic Markers is available to me. Unlike TomBow or Copic, they do not come with a brush tip. There is no way that these can blend. It is impossible for them to blend with each other, with other alcohols. If you are using any other marker, you may use them (Copic markers). The time period. There is great darkness in the colors. The entire set consisted of 50 cards, but only six were light enough to be used. Two of these cards has a heavy chemical smell. Alcohol is not a problem, only This does not smell like the markers used in copics. A lack of even application of the ink is observed. As a result, dark areas will result where the markers overlap one another in order to fill in distances. Tactics like this make me feel uncomfortable. The reviews were very critical and I really hoped they were That was not the case. When looking for affordable markers, Tombow brights or pastels are the best way to go. You can't go wrong with them. Choosing a Copic pink flamingo marker for skintone will be very beneficial if you usually use a lot of flesh tones. Those are the only things you need to know.

The price is reasonable for the quality of the markers
4/5

Alcohol is expensive, so after spending a lot - Since my local arts and crafts store only sells ink-based markers, I needed to find something that wasn't a financial burden to me. Shuttle Art markers were perfect. I think they are capable of competing with other brands if they add a few features. A few pros This product has a wide range of colors* that come with a zipper bag* that look professional* that is affordable* that is a huge con. In the future, we hope to see a blender included in Shuttle Art.

I like these markers a lot! There aren't many light colors here, but there are a lot of This is an amazing set of markers! It's hard to describe how much I This picture was colored in with these markers (there is no blender used in this picture, as it's line art belongs to Ladowska the artist)
4/5

Blending seems to be relatively easy! The tip of these markers is tough, unlike those of copic markers, which are more like a softer brush. A lot of bleeding occurs with these and they do streak a It is only a con that there aren't many colors that are light. It is best to choose light colours, such as light pink, light purple, light blue, etc. You can purchase these markers at Dickblicks online website for $3 and then you can purchase copic ciao markers. If they are selling shipping, buy 60 and get them at a discount. Buying six copic markers and a multiliner for $26 with free shipping was a good deal. While I did buy copics, I only bought light-colored ones.

Because of the poor packaging that was provided Considering the poor packaging I had with my markers (and only the markers) and the fact that over half of them were dried up, I think more attention needs to be paid to the packaging for companies that are making this product
3/5

It was fortunate that the markers were alcohol-based, as I was able to revive them to workable I understand that the rest of the products in the same box were untouched by the excess alcohol. The makers, however, should be back to normal when I let them sit in the alcohol for ninety minutes. The money I spent on them would be a waste if it doesn't work, because otherwise it would be a waste We ask you to keep a watch out for this problem in the future so that no one else has to experience it. The purpose of this is to help out the company/manufacturer of the item - I don't believe it's a negative comment at all. Please accept my sincere thanks.
