I can honestly say that it will dry and clog your fountain pen, sorry to say.
It is something that others have done, but I did not purchase it based on that.

It takes me less effort to stir and disperse acrylic inks in resin, since they can be mixed more evenly than straight acrylic pigment straight from the time you need to insert air bubbles into your mix, the more likely it is that you will introduce a lot of them. As a result, I wanted a pigment with a thin consistency, and this fit the bill. Since acrylic pigments are probably what most people use, I think this is a bit of a luxury, but I haven't been working with resin for very long, so I appreciate anything that makes the process simpler and less messy. There is plenty of pigment, and you only need a dropper full to color an entire project, so you can use this little bottle for weeks.
My letters end up with texture rather than a smooth surface when I paint them because they do not dissolve when I paint. That's a real pain.
Colors make a great impact. In a mixture with Rubbing Alcohol, it is used for dyeing wigs. I really like this color.
The dip pens I typically use are not so thick, nor so thin, and I like the acrylic ink to be medium to not so thin. had previously used Speedball super pigmented acrylic ink, which was perfect, but the ink needed to be thinned and flowed more easily with a few drops of water. My initial impression of Liquitex was that it did not require water, so this time I tried it, and unfortunately it disappoints. Ink is too runny to be convenient for use with dip pens, and black ink is not as dark as Speedball that is slightly diluted. I can also write about half to two-thirds as many words with a single dip as Speedball can. Unlike Speedball ink, which is black as well, Liquitex ink is more like a dark gray color. Speedball ink also feathers more than the ink on this pad. Another ink I liked for colors was Daler Rowney, which was thick and feathered little. Adding a few drops of water to Darer Rowney is also necessary. In the case of large graphic art pieces that will not be brushed but used with pens, on less absorbent coated paper, this brand might still make sense, but I am returning My July 2021 update has been that I tried this Liquitex acrylic ink in a technical pen (Staedtler Mars Matic 700, line thickness=08), and the ink performed If the line is thinner, it may still feather (I am not aware of having tested it, but extrapolating from what I see with dip pens) but this is I'd like to use a line width of 8mm. In addition, the ink flows considerably better than many other inks, which makes it easier to write wet and consistently. My review has been edited to add this observation. I did this partially because many acrylic inks and drawing inks I tried seemed to contain large pigment particles or dried up ink binder solids, which In the past, dip pens didn't cause this problem. Before filling the pen, shake the ink bottle for several hours to mix the fine pigment particles. The debris and other big particles will sink much faster in the ink and you can fill the pen with the supernatant without disrupting the "sediment". )
br>Liquitex still seems less dark than most other inks, but I'm willing to trade out slightly lighter color for reliability.
During Inktober, I used this with nib pens and I went through a bottle. There were a few compositions using line and wash as well. A lot of watercolor had to be applied over it, and it worked perfectly. When I use nibs for ink drawings, this is my default choice. Although I have not tried it on my Rapidograph pens, I'm relatively confident that it will work--at least, Additionally, I bought the kit that contains raw Sienna, burnt Sienna, and purplish dye The burnt umber can be used with any other line drawing or wash drawing. Cosplay wigs look better after dying with these! Based on a 1, I used It was only necessary to use one ratio of acrylic ink to 70% isopropyl alcohol (rubbing alcohol) and the results were fantastic!.
Because I had in my head that acrylic ink would be more viscous than India ink, I had anticipated that acrylic ink would be more viscous. It does, however, seem to dry fairly fast, and the water doesn't seem to penetrate it very easily. In case you plan to apply watercolor or washes over your lines, this is a useful technique. Also surprising to me is the fact that this appears to dry somewhat lighter than expected when it comes to dark color and saturation. In pens with refillable cartridges, I would probably refrain from using this.
There's no splattering on myself, either, since I can dip my brush in and not splatter it all over. This design is so much more modern than the old one, I'm not sure why I did that with the old one.
