Questions & Answers
This is an excellent collection. The colors work well together, and the peach and brown tones offer plenty of variety.
The dual brush pens are surprisingly valuable, and the metal box keeps them safe.
You can make your own swatch using the included swatch paper. Also, there are no numbers on the markers. But, because I adored this set, I created my own. I assigned a number one to each marker. With a sharpie, I wrote 100 and then used the provided paper to make a color swatch. It took a while, but it was actually quite relaxing, and this is an excellent set of markers. Every pen is functional, and the colors are appealing.
They are suitable for use on canvas. However, acrylic paint should not be used on top of it. The paint won't take the color. It won't even color on previously treated canvas.

If you want to try brush lettering or bullet journaling but don't want to spend the money on Tombows (which are quite expensive), these are a great alternative. Because of the variety of colors, I can choose a few of my favorites to keep in my pencil pouch for school while still having similar colors at home. The finer end of the spectrum is ideal for note-taking. They do, however, ghost a little bit when they're taken. br>br>In addition, when you first place the pen on the paper, a small blot of ink appears, which is why I prefer to use other pens. The only disadvantage is that after a few uses, the brush side becomes frayed. As a result, I'm unable to use these pens for actual brush lettering, only for practice, because the up and down strokes are nearly identical. br>br>I docked one star for the fraying, but that's understandable considering the pens were a steal compared to others, so you can't expect the best.
This was purchased so that I could color my own cards. A swatch card was provided, as you can see in my photo, but because it was printed on glossy paper, the swatches on regular paper are completely different. I swatched my pens on a spare piece of scrap paper in the same order; the two are completely different (I switched the 2nd and 3rd rows, oops). br>br>At first glance, this appears to be a good deal; you get a lot of markers, but the colors are monotonous and unusual. Some of the colors are nice, but there aren't many basic shades, and you'll never know how a marker looks until you swatch it. br>br>The dual tips are nice, and the brush and fine tip are of good quality, but the colors are too mismatched and frustrating to use.
It's a great deal for the money. Yes, for the price of 100 dual tip markers, these are a great deal. The colors are vibrant and pleasing to the eye. The markers are well-made and comfortable to hold. br>My only complaint is that they aren't suitable for those looking to progress from starter sets to intermediate sets. When you use them, they simply don't last long. I hope that was clear. So, if I were to color three circles the size of a dime, the first one would be lovely, but the second would require a little more patience to get the ink to lay down, and the third one would require a lot of effort to get the ink to lay down, and don't even try to make the third one smooth and nice looking because it will look like two markers of the same color had a fist fight in the third circle. So, if you can't afford a nicer set to begin with or want to upgrade from no-name box store markers, keep in mind that you won't be able to do a lot of the same color in a row. That's all there is to it; the tin is nice, and the black set looks great in my marker stand; the mandala was created entirely with markers from this set.
I have carpal tunnel syndrome as an adult, but I enjoy coloring. It's a lot easier to use the brush side now that you have the option. It has a calming effect on me. These are available in a variety of colors and come with a handy storage case. I've found the best deal on the internet.
With the exception of RED, this is the best set! Love it. However, I miss the color red. One of the fine liners also has a brush that isn't matched to it. But that doesn't bother me too much. When I tried to sample it, it was dry, so that could be part of the problem. It makes no difference.
I would strongly advise it, particularly to new artists.
There are a lot of colors to choose from, especially with the double-colored dual tips. Unlike some other tips, the tips do not crush or fold up. They also don't pill and don't leave wet color streaks on the paper. The pens glide along like a paintbrush, producing vibrant, lifelike colors. It's the perfect size, and it fits comfortably in your hand, making coloring enjoyable once more.
These aren't tombows, and you shouldn't expect them to be at this price point. However, they come in a wide range of colors and are of sufficient quality to be an excellent value for the money. However, keep in mind that not all colors go with the cap - Some are in close proximity, while others aren't. I've also had two that, despite being stored upright, flooded with ink the moment I opened them. They work after I cleaned them up; you just have to soak the brush nib for a while first.
