It is true. According to the Stockmar web site, the crayons contain approximately what is stated in terms of % on the ingredients page. There are two types of wax Paraffin (microcrystalline wax). It is 52 %. Stearin (plant wax) is 30 %. Beeswax is 10 %. Synthetic organic and/or synthetic inorganic pigments are 8 % or greater. There are different proportions of colour pigments needed for different colours according to their colour force. That can affect the other percentages as well.
The crayons are made from beeswax and parafin wax. It wouldn't be suggested to use these in high chairs for children still in high chairs. It aims to have high color saturation and vibrant colors. So I wouldn't say they come off easily from a surface that is porous, such as a wall, or even a smooth plastic surface

The crayons looked really interesting, so I was extremely excited to try them. It seems that regular crayons break very rarely. I have heard that these crayons go through much faster than ordinary crayons. A broken one of ours has been delivered to us. Despite the fact that my kids love the colors and seem to be enjoying them so far, I don't find them to be of the quality I was expecting. In relation to what you receive, this is very expensive. As well as being smaller than I was expecting, the crayons are thinner as well.
My daughter is entering kindergarten next year, and so I originally purchased these for her. You will be amazed at how well these crayons hold up, have vivid colors, and are long-lasting!
