Recommendation for Children Ages 4 and Up
With skin color crayons, you can add more variety to your art projects.
Apricot, black, burnt sienna, mahogany, peach, sepia, tan, and white are among the eight colors that represent skin tones from around the world.

Questions & Answers

Are all of the crayons labeled "skin tone" or are they just black, brown, white, tan, and so on?

I was disappointed to discover that there is a standard black and white, as they are identical to regular crayons, and no one's skin is white or black in the same way that crayons are.

Is there a total of 24 shades, or is each pack identical?

Each pack contains 12 crayons, so if you purchase a three-pack, you will receive three boxes containing 12 crayons.

Two of the eight crayons do not match the description
3/5

These crayons are perfectly acceptable. They're Crayola quality, but they're also supposed to be "multicultural" crayons, with a range of colors to match different skin tones. There are 8 crayons in this box, and the color variety is adequate but not exceptional. But, let's face it, one crayon is pure white and the other is pure black. Those aren't the colors of a human's skin. Lakeshorelearning is a great place to go if you're looking for a wide variety of skin colored crayons. Visit www. peoplecolor. com to purchase their "People Color" crayons - $6. A pack of 24 different skin-colored crayons costs $9. They're fantastic!.

Although 25% of crayons are actually "white" or "black" that can be found in a regular pack, 25% of crayons are actually "white" or "black" that can be found% I was overjoyed when I purchased the markers
3/5

I'll buy them again, but not the crayons this time. White and black crayons make up two of the eight crayons. More shades of real skin would have been nice. tones - Very pale and dark colors would be amazing but 25% of the crayons were just a standard color from a regular pack was a bit disappointing. I still think it's great that it's starting to give kids more options for portraying their various skin tones.

It is crucial to have a representative
5/5

My native Alaskan students had run out of browns to draw with by the end of the school year, so I bought these. These arrived quickly and brightened the rest of the year's art time. It is crucial to have a representative. I'm grateful these are so widely available.

Shipping was a disaster
3/5

What a disaster. I'm overjoyed to have crayons to celebrate the diversity of my students. I was so disappointed to find them scattered throughout the box like a tornado-damaged classroom. It was as simple as taping the boxes together. Paying a premium for crayons only to be treated as if my order didn't matter was not a pleasant experience. In any case, teachers, have a wonderful year. You are significant.

I purchased a three-pack. They were all shattered when I got them. Returns and exchanges are not possible.

This is a fantastic suggestion
5/5

This color palette has a fantastic concept. The colors are standard Crayola colors that can be found in a variety of other Crayola packs, but it's nice to have them all in one place, and the message it conveys to young children is fantastic. You could also save money by purchasing a large pack of Crayolas and separating these colors into multicultural crayons. That's something I'll likely do in the future.

These were purchased in bulk for my kindergarten class
5/5

These were purchased in bulk for my kindergarten class. We read "The Colors of Us" and did a "swatch" activity in which everyone identified their color before creating self-portraits. We now keep them out so that all of the children can draw realistically. I'll be repurposing these in the future.

This product, which I first saw on TV from the girl who came up with the idea that Crayola then created, is a wonderful idea and a wonderful product
5/5

I ordered a set of three from Amazon to give as gifts to kids who genuinely show an interest in them!.
