This is a new set I just received and have started using. It started working really well for me at first, but now the charcoal in the pencil keeps breaking and things are not shading as dark as they Since it's so light, it appears to be a graphite pencil in HB. A strange thing has happened. There seems to be a problem that I cannot resolve. These will probably be given to my granddaughter for In spite of the fact that she is still young, and although I am by no means a professional, I am nonetheless confident the charcoal should be black when you press it firmly into the skin. Maybe I got one of those bad ones.

It's a fact that charcoal pencils smudge, so I have learned to expect it, but it's not enough to make me stop using them. This pencil brand smudges and smears barely at all, and I have HAD NEVER been so satisfied with pencils in my life. I immediately purchased two more sets. I didn't even think about it after buying them. I have added color to one of my new sets. Is it a coincidence that the colors are all the same? This is incredible! It's never happened to me before that a pencil can produce such an array of vibrant colors. It will not take me long to purchase more sets when I get paid next month. If I am able to receive these pencils on a regular basis, I will sign up for a subscription.

After seeing how lovely these were, I bought some for myself. They were a nice find, and I'm glad I bought them for my sister. They are highly useful for sketches and quick studies - but they deteriorate with time. I believe they are best suited for this purpose. As far as sheerness is concerned, I don't understand what that means. It is nice to have pencils like that. There is a pencil that fits each of the designated descriptions of soft, medium, and hard. Their quality feels as though it is quite good, the media displays appropriately, and they sharpen well. There is a nice quality feel and look to the packaging. Due to that reason, this item makes a good gift.

There are no words to describe how much I It is preferable to have you sharpened instead of being broken when you arrive. The colors sharpened extremely well using a prism color sharpening machine. We had a lot of fun drawing together! The smoothness of the surfaces is very impressive. Quite a bit of pigment here! Overall, I am extremely satisfied with this product! I would definitely recommend it to others! The price is very economical as well!.

In order to see if they were good at highlighting with the Ohuhu/Caliart markers, I put them through a test.
