Our search had led us to this exact page. We looked at many other stencils, but most of them were made with paper or cardboard.
What we needed was something stencil is made of thin plastic, easily washes away, and can be used for many signs (we've created three signs already). It is a good idea to tape down the letters to prevent paint from running over the edges You can only use one stencil for each letter, so you will need to make sure you set up your pattern and clean the ones you need multiples of. I did not have a problem with it, however. It was also of great importance to us to have letters large enough to read from a distance, and the size was exactly right. There are small stencils on each letter which aren't of use to us, so we removed them. We may find a use for them in the future, however.

The product was too big for my use, and I would have expected "how to use" directions included as part of the package. I want to know what kind of tape to use, and what products I can use You're the type of person who knows the basics.

I failed to pay attention to the fact that the letters were not centered on card because the number was also on the card. I now have a project that is centered off. There is nothing wrong with them, just be aware of that.
