I agree, they are all a white color and work fine. It will not ruin your work or leave a mess on your paper, so no need to be alarmed. It was a lifesaver having the eraser with me when I finished a sketch.

No Smudging! Erases well, no smearing! The regular pencil erasers on my wooden school pencils were leaving streaks on the pages, which were annoying me because they smudge (the ones on my mechanical pencils do) or leave giant pink circles (the ones on my mechanical As far as I can tell, these erasers work perfectly
