Questions & Answers

At what angle can the angle be set to the steepest?

It varies somewhat by the size of the board. However, about 45 degrees is usually the angle.

Can anyone share their experience with diamond art painting with this product?

Is there a reason not to? Designed to be used for puzzle building, paint by number, or Diamond Art Painting, the surface is flat.

Are there any ways to completely remove the parallel slidebar?

It can be done, however you will not be able to remove the brackets from either side. These bracket parts connect to the wires located

Do you know how thick the straight edge is? Can you rest a drawing journal on the table?

On the silver part of the straight edge, there is a notch. This would be an ideal platform for hanging pretty much anything between a folder and (at its thickest) a spiral-bound notebook.

Table for drawing the perfect picture You have my full attention
5/5

Currently, I have a Husky Adjustable work bench (52X24) with two drawers that I use for my work, however I needed a drawing table with an adjustable height. It's a great product, the I was too tempted to skip the Draft Deluxe Adjustable Angle Parallel Drawing Board since the price was so low. Upon arrival, it was in excellent condition. To avoid any damage in shipping, it was carefully packed in double boxes with foam corners. Platforms like these provide a sturdy platform with rubber "feet" to stop them from tilting mechanism is solidly held in place Despite its weight, it is not wobbly or cheap. When I lean and work on this table, it remains in place and supports the weight of my body. The power strip was attached to it so I would only have one cord to trip over.

86 bucks gets the job done, but it appears to be lacking in some aspects
4/5

In contrast to rubberized drawing boards, this drafting / design board has an ordinary cabinet quality melamine face and does not respond to needles as it does to other types of boards. As I expected, the compass did not create deep divots and a small circle was made below the horizontal bar to see what kind of divot it would leave. Melamine laminate is not easy to puncture and did not leave as deep an impression as I thought. Another way to put it is that it is tough and sturdy. did, however, leave a tiny burr, which may become a tripping hazard down the road. It is difficult to draw a circle with the compass needle because it comes in too shallow, making it even more difficult than it already is to accomplish. It is extraordinarily difficult to get good lines with a compass for me. Luckily, compassing isn't one of the things I plan on doing very often since I won't need many circles in engineering as opposed to architecture however, these needle marks will still need to be addressed at some point If heavy compass use is made, the surface might need to be scraped or filled with something to keep the In my profession, I am a remodeling designer, plumber, and electrical contractor, so I expect this board to get damaged on job sites anyways, so I will probably move on to a better one with a hard carry case. words, it is something I burn up (wear out) on job sites and need to replace like a saw or other tool I use on a regular basis. This cable mechanism is much more impressive than I anticipated. There are no very good pictures of the cables on the Amazon specification page, so I was worried about that aspect. Although they appear sturdy and well designed, one thing makes them less than ideal. As far as keeping the horizontal bar straight is concerned, I don't think it's going to be user friendly. Once the drawing bar has been used for a couple of compositions, I will follow up on the review to see how accurate it stays during the process. There are rubber stops at the bottom of the board on the type of drawing boards in schools, and you can adjust the bar easily The horizontal bar is set (stretched, to keep it straight with the drawing) by lowering the cable to the stops, which resets the cable slightly, and sets it back to its original position so it matches the lines on the drawing throughout the composition of the drawing. The cost and quality are up in the air for me. They might be able to get by with a rubberized drawing surface for 86 dollars. The rubberized material on the face is unknown to me in terms of its cost. Bottom stops for the horizontal bar can certainly be incorporated into the manufacturing process of these nifty little tables, but right now the bar bottoms out by hitting the roller hardware (the wheel bracket) at the bottom side of the cable assembly, and they only hit in a predictable or stable place. I doubt that the designer had ever used a drafting table, and so it was completely overlooked by him. The stand works perfectly for me, the angle of the board is high enough not to be distracting. I am going to need a stool eventually to sit upright in class at school because the ones at school don't angle up far enough. A number of arbitrary levels can be set on this board. A PEB is a sturdy, well-built product. There is not a quality or sloppiness to it. There is a nice big bracket that is attached with two screws to the carry handle of this board. The lamination and trim are tight, and the board is straight as an arrow. Under the right conditions and with the proper care, I think this unit will hold up very well. In the end, I am satisfied with the product.

Strong, reliable, convenient to clean, and durable - I'm a big fan! A Martin Universal Design Adjustable Angle Parallel Drawing Board provided me with everything I needed as well as a My family and I are extremely satisfied with the design, durability, and function of this product
5/5

There are no complaints from me I am far more impressed than I expected with this drawing board. Painting with both oils and acrylics, in addition to using a variety of unusual methods, mediums and accessories, is my method of choice. There is no end to the mess and destruction that can arise. Over the past 30 years, I have chewed through more art surfaces than I can remember, but this board has been able to hold up to some of my heavy and strange It takes a lot of effort for me to be gentle toward this drawing board. The two of us are perfect for each other. In general, the main surface consists of Flat, smooth, and even are the characteristics of this surface. It is wide-ranging in its application to all types of drawing, painting, and sculpture. The paper works well for smoothing clay and tacky glues as well. I painted directly on the surface and then carefully peeled it off to create neat textures for the pieces I created. Over the past two years, I have mercilessly scraped the surface with palette knives, pounded on it, rammed it with carving tools, and rub it vigorously with solvents and other paint removers--I have even dripped paint on it. It resisted melting liquids and some poorly-sanded sandpaper I ran over it (by accident), and shows no evidence of wear or In construction
Incredibly strong and durable, this board holds a lot of weight without bending, buckling or warping. Working on tiny details like hair or pores, I usually press my drawing boards against my body, and this counter top does not move, slide, or creak. If I were to use a jackhammer to remove it, it would still stand. It would be nice to have a jackhammer to look into this hypothesis in more depth, but I lack one. A straight edge
I'm surprised at how accurate it is, even though I don't need it as much as others do for its intended purpose. However, I find it to be perfect for my needs. As long as it's straight, strong, and easy to move when needed, it's always been great. It takes only seconds to turn and lock the knobs into place. As soon as it is set, there is no movement. In addition to the angle lock, what is the following It is a wonderful invention that allows you to adjust the angle lock. The device is easy to operate, and it holds its position regardless of how much abuse it receives. Here is an image of the board holding some of my tamer artwork so you can see how big it is My difficulty with interpreting online measurements is something I always encounter. Hopefully this may assist others with the same problem. It measures 21" wide, which is called the "small" board. Despite their size, the paintings are tiny, roughly 2x2 and 3x3, with the biggest being All of them seem to go together quite well, as you can see It is possible for me to have three to four paintings of this size open at once, giving me plenty of work space. In spite of its size, the board is still compact enough to fit in a tiny The entire thing is covered by a painter's tarp placed on top of a standard-height desk. Even though the tarp moves around if I get too pushy while working, the drawing board has never moved. Affixing its grippy little feet to any surface is no problem at all. Anyone having trouble finding an adjustable, durable, stable, and smooth drawing board will find the drawing board presented here a great option. For me, the attached straightedge was a nice addition. Although I am not a very big woman, I would not call the drawing board portable. It is possible to pretend it is portable if you don't mind moving it around. In order for it to function properly, it must be mounted on a raised surface. Rather than a full-blown program, this is only a part-time program A table or easel that measures the same height as the easel. I was just able to add enough height and adjust the surface in order to turn my flat desk into an ideal surface for art.
