Upon folding the enso open, it can be set up on its own stand. The water brush is provided as well. In the original buddha board, the 'notched' surface fit inside the notches of a water tray, which was There is also a bamboo brush included with it.
*Hi Kyle, sorry for the delayed response I bought the original Buddha Board for myself and the Enso version for my granddaughters since the Enso version is easier to transport. There is no difference in the paper of the two types of brush, but there is a difference in the brushes. There is a classic Sumi-e pattern on the original This brush makes use of e style brush, while the Enso makes use of a "water brush," which has a handle The Sumi-e is much more appealing to me To use with their Enso boards, we purchased a different style brush separately for the girls.
I am here. There is a silver plastic case and a black paint job on the enso. It is my sincere hope that this helped.
You can use any soft paint brush to paint. Dip your hand in the Use a thin brush to get the most out of it.

I love this drawing board. One issue is that the paint brush is too small for painting with. Other customers had complained about this as well. Since I had to modify the brush to get the results I wanted, I gave this board 4 stars instead of 5. It was super easy and I highly recommend it you do it yourself as it made a big difference in my experience. To remove the water reservoir from the bristle portion of the brush, first unscrew the reservoir. Next tip the brush by firmly gripping all the bristles and pinching them together so they don't damage each other. Over time, they and the plastic piece they're in will slide backwards into the place where the water reservoir used to be. Undo the black plastic piece that serves as the cap of the piece by clicking it off. You will see the non-painting end of the brushes, which will appear to be melted plastic when the plastic is removed. By poking 12 or more holes through the end of a safety pin, I made one hole for each of my 12 fingers. Just poke maybe 6 to start, and if you need more after testing, you can add more. Be careful not to overlap the holes, or they may weaken the end of the bristles. By doing this, you will see a dramatic improvement and your paintbrush will work better Again, I am absolutely in love with your board.
As a former art teacher and now someone living with Alzheimer's, my sister with 64 years old and currently has an art board I purchased for her. A sad reality is that she is no longer capable of creating the artwork I highly recommend this brush board! I love the way the brush holds the water to prevent spills. I particularly appreciate that the water doesn't spill out as a result of the brush. I'll tell you what's best Now that she is painting pictures again, she feels like she is making new pictures. To make her think I am painting along with her, I plan to purchase another one.
You will become addicted to it almost immediately. It is also a mess. No cost! The first time I encountered it was as an adult It was a mixed bag of guests passing by up's party dabbling as they passed. There was a sense of creativity throughout the room. There were no spills or cleaning up to be done I am not a fan of clutter resulting from amateur art experiments. As soon as I received it, I got one for my 6 year old. I don't think she's damaged it yet, and we've had it for about one year. She could scratch the board or feed the brush to the dog, but she hasn't done so yet. The game is just as appealing to her as it was to the adults at the party, so I can let her play it without supervision.
I have the original Buddha board and I like it a lot for practicing Japanese characters and sumi-e. Recentlly, I bought two Enso models for my granddaughters in their ages of seven and nine. The portability and water resistance by Enso convinced me to invest in the product. It would be better for them if the brush were refillable. On one brush, the bristles were bent out of shape (see picture). On Friday, I emailed Customer Relations at Buddha Board, and on Monday, I received a message from them saying that a replacement brush would be delivered. I would like to thank you for your service.
Upon opening it today, it was extremely difficult to open and did not open correctly, as the hinges on the left and right sides were broken, so the book doesn't close properly. If I get another, I am on the fence. I plan to return if I.
This piece of art was first seen at a Boulder, Colorado, museum while on vacation. There was a Christmas party and my children played with the teddy bear. Although they begged me to buy it on the spot, I knew there wouldn't be enough room in our luggage to fly it As soon as I came home and looked on Amazon, I found this product at the same price. I received the book on time, and both of my children were pleased Considering that my son is highly creative and artistic as well as hyperactive, this product will keep him occupied and calm for long periods of time. Being able to create pictures and practice letters will help him to stay focused, and we will not have to buy As it dries up, he can put something else in its place. Everyone who uses it feels very relaxed, peaceful, and at ease. There is only one thing I would have liked - a place to hold a water pen securely within the board so that it doesn't get lost. Other than that, I'd say this would make the perfect gift.
The refillable brush is included with this version of the Buddha Board. Due to this, the Buddha Board can be taken anywhere. You don't need access to a nearby water source to use this. While you are out taking a break, keep it in your car and use it there It is ready to use as soon as you open it. The Buddha Board was a gift from my husband I enjoy it very much and find it a great way to clear my head. When my grandson (2 years old) saw me using it, he had to try it as well. As a result, it is now a highly portable and highly efficient device The activity should be clean and hassle-free This applies to children as well.
By keeping this on my desk, I am reminded to take a moment or two throughout my workday to think about something and paint a picture in my mind. There are times when I write words, and other times when I draw. My favorite part about this picture is that it slowly dries up before disappearing. This gets a score of 4 stars instead of 5 only because the pen brush does not remain wet enough for painting. I keep a little cup of water nearby to solve this problem since the brush dries out no matter how much you squeeze it.
