My favorite part of this watercolor pen set is the set of four colors. When it comes to watercolor, I am a complete novice, but this made learning really fun and easy for me. I picked it over other brands because they include two water pens, which is a nice touch. A wide variety of colors create a vast palette of tones and shades. I find it helpful because you can never really control how much water to dilute with a water pen, aside from mixing colors. My first impression of the brush heads is that they feel very much like synthetic brushes, but they have good fibers and will handle reasonable usage. You will have to experiment with some of the pigmentations due to their strength. As a whole, I feel like the pens are fairly easy to mix, although I have yet to use pens from other brands, so I cannot compare it to others. As I again struggle to get used to the pen's many uses, I want to encourage you to play with the pen some more. When I have them for a longer period of time, I'll post about wet on wet or wet on dry methods. As there is no instruction book, this is really a do it yourself experience. I have also had the opportunity to show it to my friends. The assignment was to paint with watercolor, and everyone found it challenging, but quite enjoyable. I would definitely recommend it! As an example of what I did after some practice using only Doodle Hog markers and water pens, I have attached a piece.
The first time I swatched these and found them comparable to Tombows in a waterbrush I was shocked. After reading the reviews, I thought, "I'll give them a shot. ", and what have you got Most reviewers said they would work, so there is no reason to doubt them! My jaw dropped when I saw this. The "work" I produce is purely for my own enjoyment-I do not sell it As someone who treats art as a major vocation and has almost all of my savings tied up in it, if I can find alternatives that are less expensive to the more expensive forms of art, I will do it. I am all in favor of well-known brands that will give comparable results. It is almost impossible to find a brush marker of comparable quality that can match this one. The swatch picture, keep in mind, was a very small page (about 6x5 inches), so I didn't have a lot of space to work down into all the gradients, but even that first time I used them, I was amazed at how versatile they were! I would love more green and red colors, and that first color (a neon yellow) is NOT water soluble at all) but hey, you can't beat the price you get there! The colors I've used the most in the last few weeks have not shown any signs of slowing down, so even if they do slow down I'm still happy for the price I paid. I'm considering buying another couple of sets before everyone else catches on and prices go up. Take advantage of this opportunity while it lasts!.
It is difficult to find a better watercolor pen. Getting started with them is easy, and they are very versatile. In one of the photos, it shows a quick sketch of a tree in an attempt to show how fine and thick lines can be drawn simultaneously. As well as textures, it also supports blending. In fact, you can use it for just about any art project, even It is not possible for the colors to I have never had a problem with it coming off on my hand. This is a highly recommended book.
Brushes are used to deliver the markers since they are loaded up like markers. You can deliver color with high detail through their responsiveness and their tip remains very fine even when little pressure is applied. You will notice that your stroke will become broader the harder you push. It's the water blender brush that's the best part, though. Despite my project sat for a while, I was still able to come back to some parts with water, and they still responded as if they were watercolors, so I could fade and blend them We'll make it all up and keep it all clean. children kept creating with these all evening, and I am sure they will be a useful tool for us to use.
It's extremely sturdy and well In general, I do not keep my art supplies in their original packaging, but this box is so graphically appealing and sturdy, it makes me think twice. The box seems to be the right size for it, so I'll keep it! Colors are included for a great price. When using the pens you can I found that the ink was a bit dry depending on the color, and the tip frayed It shouldn't make a huge difference if I keep in mind I will add water later anyway. Adding water to the colors makes them blend so neatly and naturally. In this way, I am able to achieve the same sort of lovely bleeding I would get with regular watercolor. The ease of use of these allows me to sketch as I would normally, while also allowing me to apply watercolor quickly. If you are in the market for watercolor pens/markers at an affordable price, these are totally worth trying In addition to that, I'll definitely do so for students in high school.
For that, let me preface this by saying. While I'm not an artist, my final product has me wondering whether I've made the right decision. It's amazing what can be done with Premium Watercolor brushes. Of course, I did not utilize all of the colors, but I wanted to add a pop of color to my office and I loved the way the brushes appeared The item is on clearance at Michaels (something I grabbed from there). A feature I really appreciated about the product was the packaging and the many colors available also I found out that if you mixed the colors together you could get a lot of cool new colors. On the other hand, it could have dried out a little more since I used so much orange, brown, and yellow. The painting held up fairly well, however. Again, I am not an artist, so I am not sure what the standard is, but I think this is a good product for parents, teachers, and novice artists like me. My recommendation is to give it a try.
Two brushes are included in the set that are empty so they can be filled with water and used as blending tools. There are a variety of doodle hog products I have used both at home and in the classroom, and I have not been disappointed.
It is extremely easy to design with watercolors because pens do not bleed. It was easier to do watercolors when working with pens because there were so many colours to choose from!.
