Questions & Answers

What's the most popular size? Is it possible to use the smaller ones?

It is contingent on a number of factors. What kind of media do you use? Maybe chalk pastels or distress inks? It also depends on you, your personal style, and the techniques that work best for you. For example, I struggle to draw with pencils, but give me an ink pen, even a quill pen, and I come to life? To answer your question, most people find that blending distress inks or alcohol inks for background on medium to large cardstock works well. However, if you're attempting to do smaller blending over or in a stamped or prestamped smaller area, a smaller brush will undoubtedly be more effective. So it depends on YOU: 1, the media you're working with, 2, the style or design area you want to fill in 3, and so I'd recommend 2- for the majority of people for most everyday use. 5 of the larger step-up sizes, and save the smaller brushes for when you're ready to get serious about super-detailing. They also sell sets that range in size from small to large.

What sizes do the brushes come in?

The largest is 6 inches in diameter. The brush head is 2 inches by 1 inch long and 1/2 inch wide. The brush head on the second one is 1 inch long and 6 inches long. 1/2 inch by 1 inch 1/8 of an inch The brush head on the third is 1 inch long and 6 inches long. 1/2" x 1" The fourth is number five. The brush head is 1-inch long and 1/2 inch wide. 14 inches long by 3/4 inch wide. The fifth is number five. The brush head measures 3/4 inch by 1/2 inch and is 1/2 inch long. The handles are in good condition. The shape is pleasing to the eye, and the use is pleasurable. Good buy!

Is it true that these are made in China?

I'm sorry, but I don't know. I bought these for my daughter, who works in the card-making industry, and she loves them because she can use them to blend colors. She stated that they were extremely effective. I know that doesn't answer your question, but as long as she's satisfied, I'm satisfied as well.

Is it possible to use this brush as a dry brush acrylic blender brush?

Personally, I would not do so. The bristles are very fine, and they're a little pricey to use with acrylic paints. It also depends on the method you intend to employ.

I'm blown away! I usually wait for Amazon to remind me to write a product review, but today I felt compelled to write a review for these blender brushes that I received the day before
5/5

I'm impressed, as my title suggests. I'd tried numerous times and failed to achieve a smooth blend with the well-known brand. sponge blender with a well-known round shape In the last few days, I've seen several videos on this type of make-up. Before you go out and buy a blender brush, make sure you look them up first. Some demonstrators said dye inks work best for them, while others used distress ink to demonstrate the brushes. My personal experience with these brushes has been that they work exceptionally well with dye ink, though when I used distress ink, I got a far, far better blend than I ever did with the round sponge blender, which had no circles that took me a long time to blend out. The handles have been described as flimsy by some, but I did not find them to be so. After all, the whole point of blending is to use a light hand. I simply blended with my index finger on the round portion of the brush, using a light touch, and the handle's flexibility, which some must consider "flimsy," was no issue for me. For $10. 00, why pay twice as much for five brushes that produce a lovely result? If a handle breaks down the road, I'll upgrade to the more expensive brand-name brushes, but until then, I'm happy with the results I got today. This product comes highly recommended from me as a card maker.

It was a pleasant surprise

These brushes are EXACTLY the same as the ones I bought for more than twice the price from a well-known craft supplier with a brand name!! They function identically, have the same appearance, and are significantly less expensive. These blending brushes are fantastic!.

Crafting is a breeze
5/5

These brushes are a fantastic addition to any crafter's toolkit. If you've ever looked for card ideas on Pinterest and noticed lovely subtle shading in the background and wondered how they did it, this is for you. This is the tool you'll need to achieve your desired effect, and it'll work just as well as the more expensive brands.

Brushes that work well with all types of ink
5/5

These brushes are incredible at blending all types of inks. I'm so glad I went with these instead of the name brand ones, which would have cost three times as much. Any crafter would benefit greatly from these blending brushes.

It's a dream to work with; Cleaning is a bit difficult
5/5

These are ideal for blending inks. It's easier to blur the edges than with a foam applicator because the application is smooth. Getting them clean is the one thing I'm having trouble with. Distress Oxide ink is much easier to remove from foam applicators than it is from these brushes. But, because I like them so much better, I'll probably buy them again and use one brush for each color of ink.

Finally, I've mastered the art of blending inks! I have some brushes from a well-known brand, but they have a scratchy appearance to them
5/5

These are fantastic! I just tried them and they're fantastic! I also used a demonstrator/online company's high-quality paper. So lovely and smooth! These brushes have a velvety texture to them. I'm looking forward to putting them to even more use. And at such a low cost!.

Crafters will love it! These brushes were purchased to blend inks
5/5

The ease with which dye inks or distress oxide inks can be blended is fantastic. I used to have a lot of trouble blending with those round ink blenders, but these are fantastic!.
