I ordered these for crafting, but the first set had four of the seven bristles bent or missing, so I returned for a replacement. The second set was just as bad, if not worse, with four out of seven errors. Disappointed to the point of frustration.
The cost is less than that of crafters like Picet Fence. I bought the full size from Amazon a few years ago before they were discovered by the crafting industry, and I love them. Although the price was low, they only measured a scant 3/4' inch across the brush, not the entire length. The description says 98 inch, but I'll need a microscope to use them if they get any smaller. The brushes themselves appear to be of good quality. Just keep in mind that these aren't GinaK or Picket Fence brushes, and that the price is for much smaller brushes.
I couldn't help myself and threw these away. The bristles continue to fall out. They don't pick up the ink, or if they do, it's only in one spot, resulting in a lack of blend. This product made me extremely angry.
The bristles are lovely and soft, and they seem to blend in well. Unfortunately, four of the seven brush heads had dents in them when they arrived. Although these appear to have only a minor impact on their use, I am disappointed.
These are far superior to the blending tools I was previously using, and I can easily organize them by color. In addition, the long handle makes it easier for me to use them despite my arthritis limitations.
There are two sets of blending brushes in my collection. I also have a set of five brushes that are color coded and have larger heads; I purchased these brushes because they had different colored handles than the ones I already had, giving me more variety. These don't hold the ink as well as the others, so I'll need more ink and more time to apply it. These don't sit well with me.
I like the color-coded handles because they help me remember which brush to use for which color. I also paid $1 for what appear to be the same brushes (except for the brown handles) at Dollar Tree, and there is no difference except for the color of the handles. I expected the heads to be larger when I bought them, but now that I'm using them, I think they're just right for the type of ink coloring I do. I get good results and they're holding up well.
This brush set is of poor quality. I ordered four sets to use in a card class I was teaching about ink blending. Every brush had multiple bristles that were significantly longer than the rest, which I had to manually trim. There were also two brushes with clumps of bristles that were either not attached or attached at an angle (as seen in the photo). Save your money and shop around for a better deal. The quality is poor.
