There's a hard plastic on it. I agree that it is very durable. The large one is what I bought. That was the wrong decision. Painting on canvas is not what I do. Ceramics, wood, and metal are some of the materials that I paint. The things you paint are what you need to know, so maybe you're thinking, "Okay, lady, I don't need to know that.". I love it. I do not use brushes that are that long and huge. Many of the things I need to reach into the bottom of the closet to get are actually hidden inside. So it was one of my sons who saw fit to split it The material is pretty thick as well. I did not make it weak by cutting it. It's actually the most wonderful book I've ever read. Wishing you all a safe and prosperous new year
Sizes ranging from small to large can be accommodated. There's no need to worry. The investment has been well worth it.
According to the product listing, I received MEDIUM tube. If you would like a different size, you might want to check out the paint puck website.

The purchase I made disappointed me. Gifted to my daughter, it has lasted her for years. It failed after the first usage of the inital "container. ". She contacted the seller, who informed her that the container was only for use with soap and water. The cleaner is not for paint brushes. As I reviewed the product before purchase, I did not see any note telling me that only water and soap are to be used.
I thought the price was extremely high. This device is basically an acrylic tube with two molded silicone pieces stuffed inside. I have hoped for almost a year that someone would be able to come up with something similar at a reasonable price. Due to the limitations of my watercolor work space, I ordered this product. It's virtually spill proof, too. The brushes have a secure place to dry, and that is perfect for me. I have one complaint about this product, and that is that it is about three times more expensive than it should be since it is the only option. It's made of a lot of expensive materials and Depending on your potential, I would advise to wait for a competitor who isn't gouging to come up with a similar product. If you are not in a desperate situation like I was or have a lot of money to burn, I wouldn't recommend it.
There was a YouTube video about this weirdly shaped paintwash cup, where the creator raved about it. The reason I mention unsponsored is that I don't believe anyone who is sponsored by a product will tell you everything they dislike During the week leading up to Christmas, I had this in my cart, and then I bought This would have made a great gift for someone special. I find that my watercolor and gouache brushes get very dirty so I have to spend a lot of time cleaning them. It had worked well with the set of 20 gouaches I was swatching, so I decided to give this a try. I use an awesome brush cleaner, but wanted to give this a try. With this brush, I was able to remove every last drop of paint from the brush. It was even possible to clean off the brush even with dark colors. Cleaning it up is a breeze, there is no leakage, and it even has a brush holder on the side. Since the water gets quite murky very quickly, I suggest keeping a cup of clear water on hand to rewet your brushes. Whether you paint or not, this is a winner.
There is not much room in the cup. Designed for ease of use and easy cleaning. Brushes are relatively cleaned, but it would be better if there was more cleaning fluid on the sides. There are some paintbrushes that will not fit on the outside of the container. We have too close a gap between each other. I'd like to see them in a variety of sizes.
Since I have been wanting to try the Paint Puck, I finally gave in. It is a bit on the pricey side, but I think every penny was worth it. To date, I have used it in my home as well as in plein air. I find the silicon pieces to be very durable and they should last a long time. I also found the plastic to be very thick and not cheap-feeling. A neat feature is that the top section can be fitted onto coffee mugs or uniformly shaped cups if you need a larger container to wash things. With the bumps and ridges at the bottom, it works perfectly as a brush washer (which I use without incident on even my most delicate sable hair brushes) and as a brush smoother (for retrieving water and reshaping To hold different sizes of brushes for drying, there are three different sized holes. can fit most sizes into these bags except for those with oddly shaped handles and those that are extremely large or very long. In general, I'm quite happy with how this turned out. I can use it for any need I have for art because of its modularity. It's still a small and light enough to pack for travel, unless you want to go ultralite/minimalist where weight and storage are a concern.
My favorite part of this is the narration. It is acrylic paint that I use. This gets a 5 star rating from me because I enjoy reading My mistake is that I should have selected Despite my purchase of the middle size, most of my brushes are too tall to fit in it. In other words, I should have sent it back to get the smaller one but I I love it.
It used to be a problem for me as a stress reliever to change colors and paint brushes would move around while i did so. I also had to wash brushes after every color, yet the previous colour's residue would still be visible. that I use the bottom, I don't have this problem, since the bottom helps me get rid of the colour from the bristles and also allows them to It's a great read for everyone.
