We think you watched too many Bob Ross videos, so we ordered this for you. Instead of painting, now you are doing things like figuring out what he did to wash his brushes so quickly. What you're saying makes sense to me. His brush collection was like 70 strong, which made it difficult for him to pick just one. This is what you need, so buy it now and save yourself some.
When you are using a large thick brush, like the 4 inch Alexander Art brush, you will need to move it back and forth across the screen for a longer period of time. It can be very difficult to find a container to hold the screen, despite the fact that the screen functions well. Home Depot had a plastic container that I found that worked. doesn't fit any Mason jar that I know of, even the ones with a wide mouth. Apparently it will fit a small coffee can, like a one-pound can or something, but I don't know for sure. In a single step, you can put the cleaning screen in a can and leave it to sit until the paint residue builds up on top of it. The problem is caused by the build up of waste product in my containers after each session. While using mineral spirits, you can let the sediment settle and then pour off the clear product. The AD2 format.
The size of my paint can is perfect. I have mine in a one gal. We have a heavy duty wire screen of high quality construction here, that is very sturdy. All the oil paint comes right out of My brushes after just a little back and forth. I'd like to thank Bob Ross for his generosity.
The Bob Ross cleaning system is more effective now than in the past. It is much thinner than the metal design, I suspect if I dropped one on the floor that it would There are three of them from purchases I made, maybe 3 years ago, from Hobby Lobby, but the store is sold out of the line at least I will never be able to find them there again.
been using these screens for several years, and I have found that the smaller mesh openings are a better format than the wider ones.
This screen fits perfectly inside my #10 can (coffee can), and there is about 1/2 inch clearance around the sides without hitting the I use it on my brushes and it works.
Furthermore, it works great at getting oil paint off my brushes when I drag the bristles across it. In my case, the setiment falls below the grates so I was able to use the same thin. It is advisable to use cleaner at least three or four times before discarding and replacing it with a new one.
I guarantee that you won't be disappointed when you see just how clean your brushes can be.
