There are three of them in each set. The small one was unusable because the top was too small for the base and adhered crookedly. The medium one was crookedly adhered and out of round. The large one wasn't put together correctly, so I had to line up the nail heads with the holes, apply wood glue, nail it in place, and clamp it until it dried. That made the large one usable — too bad I finished all that work before realizing the other two were of poor quality. This product has the potential to be fantastic, but I cannot recommend it until the company improves its customer service. I'm going to return my current set. P. br>br>P. br>br>P. br>br>P. The sides of the base will need to be sanded and gessoed because they are quite rough.
The top surface is completely off-kilter because it is round. These can't be used for painting because they're in the center. This can be said for all three of them. Poor craftsmanship and a complete lack of attention to detail. I wish there were a way for me to give 0 stars!.
These appear to be a good item in theory. However, they are not properly glued, and there are gaps around them, as well as the tops not aligning with the supports. I need them for art projects, but I don't think I'll be able to use them in this way.
I purchased these in order to paint with them. Acrylic paints work well on these, and they're simple to hang. br>br>The first order arrived damaged - I chose to have a replacement, which was sent out right away. Returns with no hazzle.
The title is misleading because these are not made of wood. Because they're made of fiberboard, they'll soak up a lot of moisture. Before painting the top, back, and sides, you must evenly seal the entire item.
They were ideal for my project, and I'm disappointed that I can no longer purchase them.
Fiber board, not wood, was used to make these. They will require multiple coats of primer/sealer before they can be used as painting boards, making them impractical.
