I used one of the six wood blocks I had. So far, I've packed. The wood finish isn't perfectly smooth, so I could see the wood grain before I painted the surface, which I used for a small experimental collage project. It's no problem; All of my square blocks will be painted, and my casual artwork will be adhered to the front. One minor flaw is that one of the square wood block's edges isn't perfectly straight. It thickens gradually until it reaches a final thickness of 0. On one side, the space is 4 inches wider than on the other. I placed the imperfect edge toward the bottom of the frame so that it would be less noticeable, especially against a white wall. The left edge is longer than the right, as can be seen if you look closely.
They were peeling and dented with what appeared to be a hammer, one had an odd overlap that paint couldn't cover, and a few had the corners shaved off. They were all garbage, and after I got my refund, I threw them out. BUYING THIS PRODUCT IS A MISTAKE! The quality is extremely poor. Save time and money by shopping elsewhere.
This set of six small wood panels was purchased for the purpose of creating artwork. Five of the panels are in good condition, but one had a huge gaping hole in the middle when it arrived. I'm not sure if Amazon can issue a partial refund, and I need the panels right away, so I don't want to refund and return the entire order. I'm just going to put up with it and see what I can do about this defective board. br>br>You should be aware that these boards have some quality control issues, but as I mentioned, five out of six of them were fine.
I like how the boards look, but after gessoing four of them, the top veneer warped along the edges. One of the boards had a corner sanded off, and the other had a corner sanded off as well.
When it comes to framing, the quarter inch does matter. The quality is mediocre at best.
The wood is very inexpensive and soft. I was trying to save money, but the material is so cheap that I wouldn't use it to hang my paintings. It appears to be prone to breaking in the future, and I have my doubts about its ability to handle oil paint.
Over half of the canvases had issues, such as the top layer not being completely glued to the frame, chips, and imperfections, among other things.
The top sheet was pulled away from the bed. It's completely pointless and a waste of time.
