Questions & Answers
Hello! What is the total size of your canvas, including the painted portion?
Hello. Sorry, but I don't have any stretcher bars that are 7 inches in length.
Hello. We don't have any 33" bars, but we do have 22" bars. The 32 3/4" brace, on the other hand, is a brace with a 32 3/4" length. It's frequently purchased in conjunction with a 36" and 48" bar pack. For a 35x48, it'd be the center brace.
Hello. Yes. You are correct; one quantity equals two packs.
Selected User Reviews For Art Canvas Stretcher Bars (6"), (2 Pack)
There are four stretcher bars in my collection. I had to buy two pairs the second time. Who in their right mind would buy two square pieces? As a result, I spent twice as much as the first time around@! I'd give 0 stars if I had the option!.
I'm a big fan of stretcher bars. I'm sorry to say that the quality of these was extremely poor. Mine were not cut to fit at a tight 90% angel because the wood was splintered and the cuts were rough. I expected better quality for the price, and I've already purchased perfectly precise stretcher frames for a similar price, so I won't be buying them again.
When I first opened this package, I was so disappointed. The item's description leads you to believe that you will receive two complete sets of stretch bars (which is exactly what I require for two photos). When I ordered these, the description sounded like I'd be able to finish two pictures, so I read the reviews and looked at the description. Now that I've received these, I went online to look it up, and it's completely different. The same can be said of the reviews. I would not have ordered these if I hadn't been misled. Granted, they appear to be of good quality, but what good is it to me if I can only finish a painting with two stretch bars? NOTHING! br>Now I'm going to have to pay for even more. When I'm on a tight budget, this isn't ideal. This year, someone will not be receiving a gift. Thank you very much.
br>There are no warped bars, the bars are very straight, there are few knots, and the fit is very snug! It's simple to reach 90' corners, a few staples in the joints, or even a dab of glue, and you're done! br>I don't see how the 'beveled edge' can be an issue if the canvas is stretched correctly/enough; they are simply there to ensure that the bars don't leave an imprint or show through the canvas. I'll buy these again without a doubt! br>My only wish is that they come in more sizes and/or in 1/2-inch increments, or even in metric (centimeter) measurements.
Who sells stretcher bars in pairs on God's green earth? And for more than a standard complete kit's price? I'll admit that some of this is my fault for not reading the description or reviews thoroughly, but WHO ON EARTH SELLS STRETCHER BARS BY THE PAIR? br>The bars are adequate for the task at hand - Notched wood pieces that fit together to form a frame Are they worth more than twice as much as another kit? No. br>Are they a pain to unwrap when you're hoping to frame your artwork later that evening? Yes. br>Would I advise others to purchase these? If your artwork requires a custom size but not high-end framing, this is the option for you. So, best of luck there.
Other brands will not be compatible with these. These were purchased to fill in the gaps in some frames that were missing bars. On opposing sides, the slots are cut.
As the canvas stretches over the bars, the beveled curve on the edges either makes the front of the canvas uneven OR makes stapling the back more difficult. Instead of this outward bevel/curve, it would be preferable if it had flat sides.
I received the wood that I required. Both of them were lopsidedly cut. I couldn't get them into the slots because they were too big. I had to either knock one side down or raise the other. Furthermore, the wood was unfinished to the point of being unusable. As a result, I had to be cautious of splinters and wood strewn across my floor. Suitable for use as firewood.
