An acrylic painting with a size of 4ft by 6ft was created using this. I like the way it retains color well, is sturdy and thick, and cuts well The only complaint I have is that it tore much easier than I expected. Even after I used masking tape or paper tape to hang it (because I don't have an easel big enough to hold something that big), I would lose layers of plywood when I peeled the tape away. The stiff texture of the canvas allows a small tear at the bottom of the fabric to easily recur higher than the start - like a red line running up pantyhose. The good news is that if you know about these things ahead of time, you can work around them. You should give yourself a little extra room to work with when using this, which is good advice no matter what, and be gentle when cutting it up.
My kids at MDA camp were in desperate need of it! As the Art Director for children with neuromuscular disorders at the Muscular Dystrophy Association, I volunteer my time for the organization. It has been decided to hold off on the project until Thank you for your donation in hopes that we can purchase two more.
Papers like this are my favorites. The paint sticks really well to it and it's really sturdy.
The canvas I used before is better than this one. Seeing as how it is so sturdy it is hard to put on a wall, once it is cut to the length I want, I paint a giant X on the back so it flattens out and you can get to work without it rolling up. Bleeds through at no point at all. Whatever layers of oil or acrylic you apply to it, it always looks good.
