When I first bought it I was using it to remove stray markings on drawings, but I now use it to remove stains on clothing as well as pencil marks! This is a sponge that is similar to one used for dry cleaning. This item deserves a thumbs up! I have updated A picture of a brand (the one listed on this page is on bottom of the picture) that I purchased is on the bottom of this page. There was a storage box for my beauty products that was dirty even though I vacuumed it every week despite being on the shelf for so many years. This was suggested to me by someone and I tried it though I was skeptical it did remove the dirt, but it leaves behind 'crumbs' from the eraser, which are easy to remove with a vacuum.
With this little drafting pad, I can easily remove excess graphite from the drawings I do on watercolor paper before I apply It was introduced to me by Anne Abgott in a DVD.
