I will never use shoddy gesso again
3/5

In theory, this product should be easy to use, which is why I was hoping to like it. I was intrigued by the idea of being able to oil paint on a whim and not have to gesso my own surfaces. As with many too good to be true products, this one failed to deliver.

The gesso used to coat the pre-saturated wood failed to provide adequate adhesion. I have a problem with cut canvas that is really sticky and shiny without any teeth to hold the paint on. This means that even if they are dry, paintings are easily scratched and paint is easily peeled In order to test the edges of this and my regular surfaces, I ran a fingernail very gently across them. There is white gesso beneath the paint on this surface that can be easily removed. Nothing comes off when I apply the same pressure as I do on my regular surfaces. The remaining pieces I'll flip to the back, prime the bare side with a higher-quality paint, and then I'll paint the new side again Gesso of high quality. As far as I am concerned, this is not a good product, unless you don't care about your paintings surviving the test of time or are willing to gesso the back with a.

For plein air painting or traveling painting on the go, this product works great
5/5

The canvas pad has a nice texture, so I can use it when I'm travelling and painting. I've used it to paint with acrylics and it works well. They come in a variety of sizes and are made of nice, thick sheets. Peeling them off is no different from peeling off other paper tablets. This is my favorite size because it fits easily into my overnight bag and the sheets clip to a standard clip board. I love it for plein air painting (outdoors) because it is If you are a beginner or even an experienced artist who cannot afford to invest in a more expensive canvas, this is the ideal canvas for you. As well as being matted and framed, they appear to hold up well over time. Please see https//www. nbsp.

The canvas in this pad is real canvas and a great price
5/5

In pax form, this canvas is a true art piece. I am not referring to paper canvas, but to Though I haven't painted on it yet, I inspected its texture and petted it carefully, smelling it, and admiring its smell. I think it will be perfect for the work I intend to do with it. Then I'll post an update, but first I'd like to see what the result is of running it through my inkjet printer. It would be possible to use wood to create a four panel wall art masterpiece, but I wanted to use canvas on each one to use the Painting one sheet of canvas, cutting it into four pieces and gluing it to four pieces of wood, then printing and painting it. The theme will be boho + farmhouse. I will post an update if I am able to run this through the printer, but the canvas itself seems good enough to create wall art, probably not for professional use, but for general crafting it will do.

The best practice book I've ever read
5/5

I recently took up acrylic painting, so I'll need to practice a lot for it to get any Acrylic paper and poster board were the last things I tried It was a great way to practice and study with mixed media paper, but it didn't translate to my paintings (the paper responds differently than canvas, and the methods I could use on the paper wouldn't work on It's nice to see canvas books like this! A canvas and paint right in the book with the cover folded over the back is appealing to me. It's thin and doesn't have a lot of tooth, so I can create realistic effects and blend with ease. I move on to the next page as soon as the paint is dry. With this method I am able to practice my subject on canvas, and I am not taking up a lot of floor space while they are finished "paintings". For each subject I have used different canvas pads, so I have a book of ocean scenes and another of forest scenes that I can flip through as I plan my next I consider these to be well worth the price and they have really helped me practice and accommodate the space issues I have. If I were to complete a painting on these, and I loved it, I would definitely buy more of them. When it comes to framing it, I can do so right away. This is easy for me to do since I enjoy looking at the books and it allows me to share some of my work with others and get feedback without having to lug around lots of framed canvases.

The picture is still evolving. It had been my first time working on a medium of this type. Upon closer inspection, the fabric does indeed appear to be There was something more paper-like I expected So, that was a pleasant surprise. The price could not be beat as well. I find this to be the perfect size for my.

You've done a great job! I love using Fredrix pads since they are easy to store and transport
4/5

I prefer the 12x16. The size is a bit small. Taking classes to learn how to paint gives me a cheap way to practice! You can also simply stack your paintings as a pile. This makes them easier to store and transport.
I tear out each canvas and tape off the boarders to my painting board.
If you're a beginner, make sure you paint on the correct side.

A wonderful canvas pad to use for acrylic paintings
5/5

It was just to see which brands I could get for my new hobby of painting. Regardless of whether or not the paper pads are made for acrylic paints, I won't be buying them again. Canvas sheets were used in the production of this pad. The advantage of painting on a canvas is that it is much easier than using paper, which tends to absorb the paint to an extent. The challenge becomes even greater when trying to blend across a large area (for instance, the The prices are also very reasonable. I will buy these again in the future!.

The product is of low quality, and is more expensive than the competition for the same size and quantity
3/5

In the past, I bought a different brand of canvas pads regularly, and since they have been out of stock for a while, I wanted to see if these would work. As such, they are much thinner, and they lack the tooth needed for anything but very basic Honestly, I don't even know what else I can do because each canvas page will have to be gessoed. From the competition, it is more expensive, but of poorer quality!.
