Despite being toothy and having some texture, these canvas pads do have a bit of texture. My feeling is that it will affect printing. Rather than texture-covered bristol board, you should try texture-free bristol board.

Similar to linen, it is not prone to buckling, and it does not require stretching before use. If you want it to be rigid, you may need to adhere it to foam core or hardboard.

There is never a time that I do not have In current practice, I use almost everything available from linen to kart paper, and have also tried most of the canvas based pads. There is a nice texture and weave to this, as well as the right amount of surface. Canvas (and gessos) are rated according to how fast or how slow they are to paint on, which is driven mostly by the absorbency of the surface. The balance between the surface and its surroundings seems to be good to me. This is a perfect choice for small pieces of artwork or for adhering to small Masonite Cheap and sturdy, it can handle being abused a little bit, but it is also extremely affordable. Since I have been using it for several years, I have switched from turpentine to walnut oil since health reasons prevented me from using turpentine. I have not noticed much difference in results between them.
It claims in its description online and on the packaging that this paper is designed specifically to be used with acrylics, but it warps immediately once paint is applied, and the end result looks cheesy. For children or beginners seeking a cheap surface to paint on, this might be a good choice, but for anyone who wants their creation to look professional, I would not recommend it.
The packaging I found the canvas to be intact without any creases and very well packed. Observation and recommendation It is a product I recommend.
Customer Service I have not tried it.
If you are trying to do water colors, it may not be.
This was the first time I used India ink without bleeding through, and it continued to come out smooth and the ink was not problematic With the brush, I was able to draw a nice clean line. You may not be able to break through it if you apply and reapply wet mediums to it and keep adding wet mediums to it, However, a great alternative. It has a silky smooth and "plasticky" feel almost like it's curved with something, so it definitely performs better than your typical heavyweight paper for watercolor or something similar. can see this working with a wide variety of media.
If given the choice between this and a canvas, I would go with the paper every single time. There's no worry about storing my finished pieces. The difference between this and canvas after they have been gessoed is very difficult to detect. Oils are my medium of choice and I almost exclusively paint 16x20. Wet on wet is a necessity for me, and this paper is fantastic in such a circumstance. Acrylics are a versatile medium, but I strongly recommend painting first with gesso. You can also get good results without gesso in that case, too.
When I bought it, I had the distinct intention of painting on it using acrylics and cutting the paper to fit into an existing frame. I really like how easy it is The eraser is also simple to use. I like the way the paint goes on and how it looks. A thick enough piece of paper does not allow the paint to There is a slight indentation on the back of the paper if you use more water, but the quality of the paper never change and after it is dry To support the paper on which I am painting, I use a brown board. Getting a feel for the thickness of the paper when you cut it will allow you to avoid bending it Two push pins are inserted at the wall with a length of twine between them, and wooden cloth pins are used to hang my paintings. fact that I can use this again and again is due to its quality and ease of use.
She said the weight was good for her paintings. Sadly, for she died this past Jan of covid19, and I have a great deal of difficulty recalling much else about her. As Amazon keeps asking for a review, I can't get in touch with her, but I will try to remember what she said before she contracted Knowing her and the fact that she was an artist, I am certain she was pleased by it.
Despite being so sturdy and solid, so willing to be beaten and wet down by rain and slush. Mix media arts is what I do mostly. I use inks, gouache, acrylic and watercolor. It holds up well! It's one of my favorites now!.
