Is it possible to store these panels in the itoya portfolio folders that house art work?

The Itoya Profolios were not designed to hold such a large amount of work.

What is the difference between gessobord and claybord, and how are they used? Is there a difference in quality or surface?

I make icons out of claybords. The surface is incredibly smooth and soft enough to be etched. It also responds beautifully to the wet egg tempera medium. I bought a gessobord and discovered that it was too difficult to etch with a slightly textured surface. On the surface, the egg tempera had beaded up.

What is the depth of the cradle?

This is the flat Claybord 1/8" - There isn't a cradle for this baby.

The package was in good shape when it arrived. Following posts about damage, I'm a little concerned. Mine was spotless when it arrived. The surface is extremely smooth. Excellent for airbrushing.

Ampersand claybord with chipped corner

This claybord came with a chipped corner. It's still wrapped in plastic, as you can see. I am unable to return to the ship because I am an amputee on crutches who is sheltered due to Covid.
