It was unclear what the maximum weight was on the paperwork. The tripod is designed for view cameras, so it should support either of them. I like the way it looks, but the wood is a little dated. Most, if not all, cases in which it is used for photography should work well.

There was nothing good about the other tripods I ordered! In addition to wiring in a working voltmeter and making a custom 14 inch lamp shade from a used burlap coffee bag, the can itself is quite heavy at over 8 pounds. The entire weight of this thing is well over ten pounds. In my opinion, it didn't need three turnbuckles on the end, but I added them in appreciation of their aesthetic value. My next lamp will be made on this tripod and I will continue to use it. That's the best one I've found so far. Oh, I see. I love the smell of it That's all I have to say.

It is just not a sturdy tripod as well as the plein air box

There is no way I can see it working with any porcha. The tripod on this is not sturdy enough to be used with my sienna plein air box. could not figure out how to make it work with porcha boxes. A good stance would require the legs to open up enough for the body to have I like the way it looks, but I don't like how it works in practice. It would be better for you to spend the extra cash on an outdoor painting trip or even a tripod for your camera. Although the product was made well and shipped well, it wasn't packaged well when it arrived. As well, it was received quickly.

The 3 pods are nice and sturdy

I was really impressed with how well made it is, and how durable it is. A week ago, I used two of these to hold 4x5 cameras at an event. While the wind was moderate, they held the cameras still even when the wind was pretty stiff. The price for these is actually pretty good at $60 ish.
