IRIS USA Portable Scrapbook 12" x 12" Paper, 1 Pack, Case clear

So, just to be clear, these aren't 12x12" containers. They're only designed to fit 12"x12" paper (with some margin on all sides). br>The actual size is 14 1/8" x 14 5/16" (with a height of 3 1/8").

- There's enough room on the side of 12x12 paper to fit a few pens or other small items when it's being stored.
- The paper corners are protected from smushing against the plastic by the corners jutting out further than the sides.
- The plastic is thinner than other similar products, but it's strong enough to stack several of them on top of one another and secure enough for paper storage. The hinges are very sturdy.
- Acid-free and free of BPA free.
- Made in the United States of America (the factory is located in Texas).
- It is a reasonable price! Things I don't like: br>br>
- They aren't compatible with one another. Technically, they can be stacked, but they do not lock together.
- Because the latches do not snap shut, they are less secure than 12x12 paper storage boxes with similar latches. Those are some excellent trade-offs. br> Aside from that, there are trade-offs when it comes to price and quality.

5 x 14. These cases appear to be excellent, but they are only 14 inches long. 5 x 14. Instead of 12 x 12, it's 5 x 12. They must be designed to hold items with an internal dimension of 12 x 12, but I needed them to fit on my 13-inch IKEA Expedit book shelves. 5 x 13. Each cube has 5 people inside it. I need to get them back to you as soon as possible. I'm hoping that having the measurements will be beneficial to others.

I already have several IRIS photo cases (with individual cases inside) and appreciate their quality; the price for these scrapbook cases is unbeatable! I was also taken aback by how much stuff could fit inside. Take a look at the images below; I added glasses for a sense of depth. br>br>The only 'con' I have is that I wish the locking mechanisms on these were better. The closures snap shut, but they're not as secure as other IRIS items.

These were ordered in twos for non-profits. One of them was already broken when it arrived for scrapbooking purposes. That has nothing to do with the product; rather, it has to do with how it was handled somewhere during processing; however, I filed an Amazon return, and hopefully the replacement that is on its way will be fine; the remaining good case is exactly what I needed. I was on the lookout for a low-cost option. To sort all the random parts and pieces in my husband's tool drawers, I used a profile clear case. I wanted to keep them contained so that they wouldn't rattle around when the drawer was opened and closed. I also wanted something that wasn't too deep, so you wouldn't be able to fill it up to the point where you couldn't tell what was inside. That's where this case came in handy. The intact case seems sturdy enough, but I'm aware that because it's a plastic product, it may chip in places like its counterpart. The good and bad of the broken case was that the chip was on a piece that wouldn't have stopped it from working or locking shut, so I'm pretty confident it won't have any real issues.

I bought three different project cases on Amazon and had to return them all. I had a baby book, cards, pictures, hospital bands, pacifier, hair clipping from first haircut, and so on. This one is fantastic!! Finally! It's much larger than I anticipated. I was concerned that 12x12 would be insufficient. But it's worse than 12x12 in terms of bugs. I believe it is simply referred to as 12x12 because it comfortably accommodates 12x12 scrapbook paper. So that my younger son and I have matching cases, I'm going to order another one.

If it had buckle clasps, I would have given it five stars, but instead it has cheap snap latches. Even so, it's a good deal for the price. The nice thing is that, despite being designed for 12x12 paper, it accommodates the extra height of paper found in scrapbook pads (roughly 1/2 inch taller). I wouldn't have considered it, but I'm glad the manufacturer did, because the box is slightly wider in one direction. It would have been preferable if these had been designed to nest more effectively- They easily slide off each other, with only the tiniest of ledges on top to keep a box above from sliding.

progress! It's great that it's transparent so I can see what's on top of the case inside. I tried some colorful cardboard scrapbook storage boxes, but they didn't seem to hold up well when stacked on top of other books, board games, and scrapbook storage boxes. These clear plastic cases appear to be more durable. My only quibble? br>br> My scrapbooks of the same size fit so well in the 12" X 12" size that it's a little difficult to get them all into the case. It takes a minute longer, but if you need something to fit a 12" X 12" square scrapbook "like a glove" with no extra space on the sides, this is the storage solution for you! Overall? I'd suggest it.

I began purchasing them to use as storage for my grandson's artwork. He works on a sheet of paper that measures 8 by 12 inches. I bought eight of these because they were so good. It's nearly impossible to find a container of this size. For Christmas gifts, my grandson and I made keepsake boxes from them. Since Christmas, however, the cost has risen. They stack well as well.
